“Im one who doesn't usually go out of my way to make a post about anything. But, credit should be given where credit is due. My son and I went in to the Hauppauge branch for fraudulent activity that was picked up on my son's account. It wasnt much just under $30. The branch Mgr took us to his office and treated the whole situation as if we lost thousands more. He did everything he could to resolve the situation and before we knew it the money was back in the account. He did all the leg work, and spent the time required to fix the situation. Im so glad I'm a member here and not just a number. Thank you Jose!”

“This Ronkonkoma branch is my home branch since I made the move nearby.It is always welcoming to step into this small office with big service with staff who are all eager to assist. Don’t believe just me but look to all who enter.Many times they have gone over my expectations when I seek help and advice.Although I truly miss Elaine who is now enjoying retirement, the new branch manager Samantha has stepped up with sterling personalized service, advice and has offered me solutions with many aspects of financial stability.My main complaint of PAFCU is that there is no Fiduciary Financial Planner for members to plan their future as well as members, like myself, who deal with life after leaving the workforce.”

There was no jumping through hoops or playing games like other banks- everything felt like the team truly was working to do the best for us. “I was sent to the KK in store branch because the bank card machine was down in Bay Shore Branch. The Branch Asst Mgr. Who had helped me the day before 5stars. Was with a customer. I was told it wouldn't be long. I went to grab a few things when Greg came down get me. Explained the asst Mgr will be longer then expected. I had 3 things I needed and he handled all 3. “I want to say, I went into the branch and talked to someone and we were able to come up with solutions that will work so I don't have to switch banks (which is such a hassle). The woman who sat with us very very helpful and pleasant, and even though they were busy we didn't have to wait long to sit and speak with her. We needed to open another account and were really torn whether to stay with them, but decided to give them another chance since we've been banking with them over 10 years. I'm hopefully optimistic that our issues are addressed and we can keep using TFCU as our bank. If that turns out not to be the case, I'll report back. They treated us like value customers and wanted to help, so that says something. Fingers crossed.”
“Amazing service!!! unbelievable from farmingville NY location I went to farmingville for an auto loan that I had already in mind to purchase. My representative was JUAN ANDRES SOLIS the experience he gave me with his service and knowledge is TOP NOTCH!!!!!! Every question I had he answered with confident. He gave me financial options to choose from and I even asked him to choose which option he thought was best for me. He gave me a certain option from the ones he had given me because he was thinking about me saving money not JUST TO SELL LIKE OTHER BANKERS THAT I HAD DEALT WITH in the past. “We’ve had the pleasure of working with TFCU on five loans, with our first loan handled by the incredibly knowledgeable and customer-oriented Lorna Curtin. Her kindness and wisdom were truly remarkable, making our interactions with her feel like we were working with a wise and caring grandmother.
However, our experience took a turn for the worse when we needed another loan a few years later. This time, we had to work with a different department, and unfortunately, our interactions were far from satisfactory. One representative even hung up on me, and others dropped the ball, leaving us in a precarious situation.
Feeling frustrated and disheartened, I brought my experience to Lorna’s attention. She advised me to share my story with the CEO and managers of TFCU, assuring me that they would be eager to address the issues and make amends. Reluctantly, I took the time to document and submit my experience to management.
Chris Tahmisyan, the Senior Manager of Member Experience, promptly reached out to me. He had already reviewed the recordings of my phone calls with the loan department and assured me that they would use my experience as a valuable training opportunity for that team. Additionally, he personally monitored my loan process until it was completed, ensuring that I had a positive customer experience.
Chris went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the outcome. It’s important to remember that every company has its share of bad days and individuals who may not always meet expectations. However, I was grateful to TFCU for acknowledging their shortcomings, taking steps to improve their processes, and prioritizing the positive experience of their customers.

“As many others have stated the movement in this place is SUPER SLOW. I have to come here to get change a lot since the chase across the street is closed.. everyone that works in this location is friendly and helpful but I just don't understand why everyone is slow with literally everything. It takes 2 minutes to get change anywhere else but it's 10 minutes or more coming here and I also come during my own work hours and it's super inconvenient to have to wait so long for something so simple. I'm sorry guys to have to put this review but hopefully you'll understand that time is precious! And those few extra minutes does a lot!!”

“Fantastic branch of a solid credit union. I came in to get some money and get some documents notarized, and they let my kid doodle on some papers as we worked.
I don’t exclusively bank with them, but I think it’s smart to keep some of your cash at a local credit union. For this purpose, Jovia has been great for me.”
