“I called this company at the last minute for a move and what we thought would be a 2 hour move turned into a 4 hour move, mostly on our part. I'm a senior who was downsizing to a smaller place, I donated a huge amount of furniture, clothing, electronics, etc., and they took it all. It was a tremendous relief to me to see that these items would be going to help someone else in need instead of being thrown away. It was a pleasure to have this company move me. “Rare is it where something so important to your stress levels in a big move delvers and actually exceeds expectations. We moved from NYC to the west coast and North American delivered and exceeded. From the first intro call to the final exchange. On time, nothing broken, under weight so reduced shipping, and responsive. It shouldn’t be rare but it is. I interviewed 7 other companies before choosing North American. It was a leap of faith as they were saying the same as the top one or two others, but they absolutely delivered and exceeded. “Everything that was promised was delivered. I had 3 trucks - all were delivered and picked up on time. Trucks were clean and functional. Everyone at U-Pack including the drivers) was courteous and professional. I hired some guys to help pack and unpack. Trucks were packed tight to minimize damage. Out of three trucks, only damage was leg on one table (that we had put at the bottom and put too much weight on). We had been quoted $35k to move. This was a way more affordable (but more work) option. This would always be my first choice.”

They recently assisted with a complex, ever changing situation for a patient of mine and could not have been more gracious. They were prompt, thorough and always responsive. “I rented a truck to move locally. Picking up and dropping off the rental was a quick and efficient. The truck was clean and I had no issues with it. Later that evening I reviewed my emailed receipt and noticed a discrepancy with the bill. I emailed U-Haul a question and figured I’d hear back in a few days. Literally 22 minutes later I received a reply from Chris Knepp, the General Manager of this location. He took care of the issue immediately and made sure I was satisfied. Mind you this was at almost 10pm on a Saturday night. I can’t overstate how pleased I was with this level of customer service. I wouldn’t expect a reply that quickly during business hours so to have a resolution within 22 minutes on a Saturday evening is exceptional. They’ve earned my loyalty as a customer.”
