“Every single worker at this location is knowledgeable and hardworking. From the ladies to the men at the front. Their lines tend to be very long but they remain cool calm and collected. New city is definitely a high volume store and they’re able to keep the lines flowing. Some of the customers are unkind but the staff remains professional. They even remember your P.O. Box number after many visits. Good guys.”

“I’ve been coming to this Post Office Monday through Friday for the past 10 years, and the improvement over the last few months has been incredible. Since the new Postmaster, Ms. Masia, stepped in, everything runs so much more efficiently.
Ms. Soniya at the counter is fantastic—always friendly, helpful, and welcoming with a smile. It really makes a difference when you’re there regularly.
Another huge bonus is the newly designated parking specifically for the post office, which makes visits even more convenient.

“I’m confused by the bad reviews. I go there all the time, have for years now, and everyone is always kind, not just to me, but to every other customer while I have been there. Even when I have made mistakes with my Amazon returns, they have always been gracious about explaining things to me. Every UPS store I have ever been to charges for packing something for you if it’s not “no box no label.” The woman who works there helped me with color prints for my classroom, and when they didn’t come out right because I had sent them in the wrong format, she happily reprinted them free of charge. Maybe the poor reviews are from people who don’t like that the workers wear masks? Or they don’t like ever being told no, even if it’s done politely? Or there’s another reason, which I suspect but won’t post here? Whatever your issue, I simply don’t believe that these nice people were rude like some of the stories here say.”

“The women who work here are the kindest and most patient employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with at a post office. I will never use my local post offices again because this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. They helped me use up old postage I ordered incorrectly so I could mail several packages without wasting it or buying new stamps. They were patient and kind and pleasant with everyone. We had a lovely conversation while they helped me and I honestly can’t say enough nice things. Best post office in the COUNTY!!! “I’ve been coming here for a while now. The counter people are super nice. The rest…. We’ll USPS is my last choice with any packages. They lie and pass the buck with the worst of them. I sent an overnight package cross country and the carrier ON VIDEO went to the door, looked around and left. No notice, knock or doorbell. The same carrier came back the next morning, signed my clients name (incorrectly) and dropped it in the mail box. They denied me a refund with no explanation. I have the cure… it’s ongoing ???”

It's in a cute area, across the street from a cafe. The post office was clean, and not busy whatsoever. Also, the mail clerk who helped me was kind, helpful, and professional. “I had a pre-paid UPS package to mail. I don't send a lot via UPS so I found them via Google Maps. There was a line, but it moved really fast and the staff was great at helping people fast without rushing them. Many of us were just dropping off and needed shipping receipts but there was one person who was getting help packing things.”
“Nothing is more reliable and dependable than USPS. That is until DOGE got its grubby hands on it. What used to take three days for a package to arrive now takes five. Let’s get Elon Musk’s hands off our Postal Service. Still it beats FedEx by a mile! One of the best shipping services this country has!”

“This place is a very central location and drop offs are easy. They don’t open until 9:30 AM so be aware if you’re trying to do any early morning shipping drop off.
They recently changed owners and while the service remains largely unchanged. The friendliness definitely leave something to be desired.
It would be nice to be greeted or even acknowledged when you walk in like it used to be. Friendliness aside, it does the job.”
