“I'm a simple guy. I do not see much difference overall between Home Depot or Lowes. They may have different items, different layout, in practical competition; but in general, a large hardware store. I am not a contractor. Bigger in size, doesn't generally mean better; as there are items I don't need/trying to find ones I do. I like stores that leave you alone, but do help when sought out. There is nothing to make it stand out or complain about. If you want to save time, I suggest going online, to Home Depot or Lowe's, look up who has the item you want and sells it at a better price. At least that will save you time. On a side note, ACE Hardware in Rome, does offers items not offered at either places. True Value(rural areas), likewise. They are smaller in scale, but offer more in non-common selection.”
