“Buying a used car can be the most daunting experience - especially for a New Yorker like me who has never bought her own car and is a prime target for being taken for a ride - but not here. Steven, Ted, and the whole team treat you like family. I got the most incredibly maintained 2011 Land Rover LR4 (named her Clarice, which everyone played along with. Like I said, family!). No trouble thus far but if anything were to need to be fixed (or when she needs a tune up and oil change) I know they’ll take great care of me. They don’t see you as just another sale and never want to talk to you again; I’ve never felt like a burden even when asking 100 questions I could probably have Googled. “July 10 2023 I was scheduled for a recall appointment for my spark chevrolet at 7 30am. This was my first experience with this deal. At first, I was very upset as other cars were in front of me as they did not park at the available space. Although I was second in line I landed up being last as the other customer was taken first. I was very upset as I had arrived extra early so my car could be taken first. I was going to cancel the appointment when the service manager Anthony Cruz came out to speak with me. When i explained to him that I was not told that my car could be parked by the service garage as a result i went from first in line to last. He said he would get me an Uber ride to and from my home as the repair could take several hours. As it turned out I went home via uber. I was home for a short period of time when Anthony called to say my car was ready. He said he was able to get my car up on the wreck sooner than expected thus the repair was done. I was very pleased with the service I received and am now considering buying a car from this dealership. Mr. Cruz is a police professional who gave me excellent service. THANK YOU, MR. “Ask for Mike (Michael Aviles, Senior Sales Consultant), he deserves the commission. He really makes you feel at home whether you're in the dealership show floor or taking the car for a test drive. He tries his best to work with you within your budget. While we did not get a deal going through, him and the sales managers Billy and Javier were all very calm and chill individuals to interact with. They did not have a pushy demeanor, and were some of the more honest salespeople I have had the pleasure of interacting with. The only reason I knocked off one star however is because even though we could not work out a deal, I continued to receive calls multiple times a day from this dealership claiming that a deal could be worked out, and they were willing to reach towards my offer. However, upon speaking to a sales manager directly they told me that the offer they already gave me was the best offer they could manage. This conflicting information, and refusal to disclose any negotiations over the phone despite already visiting the dealership twice for the same car (New Rochelle is a good distance away from me) left me a little sour. However, upon requesting to no longer be contacted about the vehicle in question, they let up.
Overall, great solid experience. I knew friends who have purchased Civics from them and they also had great experiences with them. Would recommend. They don't waste your time, and are pretty upfront and direct with everything.”
“I was in the middle of a trip from Pennsylvania to western Massachusetts when my 2012 CRV started thunking hard. I thought I had a flat but none of my tire indicators were on, nor any of my engine lights. I pulled off the highway and parked on the side of the road in a residential area and started investigating, which for me means kicking the tires and checking the oil. I'd just had the brakes done, but I couldn't see anything loose. A neighbor walked up, asked if he could help, but the problem seemed bigger than either of us could fathom. That's when he recommended this service station. I pulled in at about 9 o'clock on a Saturday morning, and the place was hopping. The owner came out, listened to my story, and said he might or might not be able to get to it today because his guys were leaving at 1 PM. I didn't have a lot of options, driving to the service station made me very nervous because of the clunk and clatter, so I parked the car, called around, and started calculating the cost of having my car towed 160 miles to home.Joao, the owner, came out to check on me, and I told him I hadn't found any other service stations that could help. He said he'd squeeze me in. His mechanic drove it into the bay and figured out the problem in one minute. Loose tire. As in, one of the bolts was about to pop out and the rest were wriggling free. I shudder to think what would've happened if I had been on the Hutch when the driver side front tire decided to separate from the vehicle!All of us breathed a huge sigh of relief. The mechanic double checked my new back brakes, tightened all the Lugnuts, and then they sent me to the local bagel shop with a list of pastries and coffee for the team. This was the lucky, lucky day I got to buy everybody breakfast as compensation for the repairs. Otherwise, no charge.As a musician on the road, I've had my share of breakdowns and emergencies. All in all, I've been really lucky, and today was no exception. If you're in a pinch, I recommend Joao and his friendly, efficient team without reservation.”
