Anette (Manager) was so helpful. They have a ton of items from core hardware to a variety of household and life stuff. Very helpful for the 'I need this random thing' moment! Everyone seems super friendly and they always do their best to help me find what I need. A great neighborhood store for sure.

I came here to make a few purchases totaling about $100. There was only one customer in the store when I entered it. The employee I approached was not interested in showing me around. Customer service is no longer offered. This establishment lost $100 in revenue.I discovered a True Value store, and the staff was very helpful. I'll always go there from now on. The poor customer service at Brickman's Ace Hardware benefits True Value.

I’m sorry to agree with previous reviews, but the service here was unbelievably rude. I was “assisted“ by someone named Lance. Who stared at me blankly, gave me one word responses, only pointed in the direction of anything I needed, and rolled his eyes and complained about actually having to help me. I only got his name the following day when I had to return the wrong part he sold me - the prior day he told me they didn’t give out names because of crazy clients. When I returned the part, I quietly told the manager that I wouldn’t be coming back because of the rude service. At which point another colleague chimed in “Fine, don’t come back.“ Unless you know exactly what you want and confirm it’s in stock, don’t come here and expect anything resembling customer service let alone expertise.

Rude - I did not complete my purchase today. Shelf prices do not correspond to what you're charged at the register. I chose 3 clay pots positioned directly above a shelf price of $3.99, and they tried to charge me $7+ at the register. The man at the register clapped back that I needed to read the label on the bottom. I pointed out that there was no price listed on the label on the bottom. I was ready to complete the purchase despite dishonest shelf pricing, but then when I asked for a bag, he said he would not provide a bag. Forget it. Rude rude rude. I am only your customer. I hope this place goes out of business and gets replaced by a Lowes. I understand that items on shelves can move, so the solution is simple - stores need to label each item with accurate prices. Give people jobs. Duh.

I bought some items. They didn’t work and brought them back with the purchase record on my phone and with my credit card with me. But I couldn’t find the receipt.I asked if I can return when I was buying. I’d been only told the items should be unopened.The store didn’t pay my return without a receipt. Manager Imran was not nice as well.Left the items in the store and went out without any refund.Depending your returns on receipt is only tricky. No need to be cheap; please be solution and customer satisfaction focused !!

I love ACE Hardware, but not this store. I was shocked by how rude, dismissive, and offensive the manager was when I tried to return a product only 4 days after using it. He did not listen to me and only yelled at me when I tried to explain myself. While I will continuing shopping at ACE, I will never shop here again.

at the end of the day, i got what i needed, but wish i’d gone somewhere else.went in to get some sandpaper, saw a bunch in the 50% off section. Was charged the FULL price. When i asked if it was the sale price, I was told it was already reflected in the charge.After paying, I went back and checked the price of the sandpaper that wasn’t on sale— it was the same as what i was charged (allegedly 50% off). Went to the cashier to see about a refund, and he voided the 3 products I bought. When issuing the updated transaction, he STILL charged full price for 2 of the 3 items!PLEASE consistently mark the prices of your items so your customers know what they should expect at the register!

I'm only giving them two stars because I support local businesses trying to stay open. However, they sure don't seem to show appreciation to their local client base. I spent over $1000 in a two week period here while I was redoing my apartment on various odds and ends, and then I wound up with a few things to return that I had bought and then realized I couldn't use. Unfortunately, I suffered an injury requiring a surgery that caused me to be homebound after a surgery. Once I had recovered enough to be walking again, I took my items back to the store and, realizing that I was past their advertised 30 day return policy, I asked if I could exchange these unused, unopened items for the items that I actually needed. Flat out, resounding no. No bending the rules, no thank you for being a loyal customer, let's try to find a way to help you, just NO. Well, if you can't stand by your loyal customers, we can't stand by you, and I'm off to Home Depot like everybody else. I tried to support you guys, but I won't be coming back. And by the way, update your website already... the hours have been wrong for well over a year.

Local spot with stuff you can buy last minute if you can't make it to Home Depot or Lowes. Fairly good selection of things you might need for home DIY.
