Not sure what happened to Apple Bank, and the unacceptable excuses a staff gave me today, but re-training staff is vital to regain its reputation. I'm having serious thoughts about opting out from this Bank. Completing a simple task regarding changing my address should not be difficult, nor should this process exceed 10 days. Had I not follow up today, there would have been no changes. Now I have to wait an additional 10 days for a saving card to be processed. That's unacceptable. The management team should immediately follow up with this issue. Better management oversight should be in place especially when another staff goes to a vacation. I can't believe Apple Bank dropped the ball in this simple task. Very disappointed. As a suggestion, your staff should get appropriate training from Mr. Devandra Ramnauth at the 1168 1st Ave site. He would have never dropped the ball as your 3815 Broadway site did with me. All Apple Bank should be able to provide "unformally" excellent services at all times, and the manager should be held accountable for their staff shortcoming. If a staff goes on vacation, your manager should have followed up with the work she put in place. That simple. The less than 4 stars demonstrate that management is falling below the baseline which used to be a five stars.

Near my job very quick in and out no problem. The service area is clean and the tellers are very polite.

Appreciate the personalized service, especially with aging parents needing assistance. The staff is considerate and most helpful. Over 50 yrs of service at this branch, three generations in our family have been serviced here now. Hard to find Banks with employees that really know & care about their clients.

It might not have all the bells and whistles, but fees are low, returns and service is good. They have products like Christmas Club that are really useful for working class families. Big plus, they actually loan to,people in the community unlike (cough) the bank across the street.

This bank is TERRIBLE. I have always banked with USAA and Fidelity, which are both banks who do not have in-person tellers in the NYC area. Because of this, the only way for me to withdraw cash in excess of the daily ATM limit is to go to a different brick-and-mortar bank and request a cash advance against my debit card. I essentially have to go to a Chase, Bank of America, etc., and “purchase†cash using my debit card. This has never been an issue in the past 3 years that I've been in NYC. But THIS place... First things first, the interior is dated and disgustingly messy. Then, when I requested the cash advance the teller literally tossed my Visa debit card and ID card back into the tray and said it's not possible to do a cash advance against a debit card. When I asked if maybe a manager could assist or explain what the problem was, the teller got a nasty attitude and said “NO.†When I asked if she could then explain what the issue was, she said “our card reader is broke.†A bank...that offers checking accounts, debit cards and has a giant sign listing cash advances as an available transaction. But they don't have a functioning debit card reader? A BANK!? Or is this a corner store? Because that's the level of competency and customer service the staff at this location appear to have. Luckily, once I left I saw a TD bank across the street. The inside was pristine, had an actual security guard, and the teller knew exactly what to do to process my cash advance. Best part is, the line moved fast enough that I was in and out in about 4 minutes (as opposed to almost 20 minutes at Apple Bank). I wish I could give this bank 0 stars for wasting 20 minutes of my life.

Excellent bank. Friendly people. Manager called me when I had forgotten to sign my check to IRS and after he talked to me authorized the payment. Saved me penalties and a lot of hassle.

Worst bank ever. Only reason why I am stuck with them is because they offer true FREE business accts. Worst rules, worsr customer service. If you have a few extra dollars, go elsewhere. It's worth it.
