This branch has consistently provided me with wonderful, efficient, friendly service across more than 25 years. The staff is outgoing and intelligent, and perceptive, and extremely helpful. Additionally, just going to this branch is a treat because of the building -- the architecture is an absolute wonder, like stepping inside a world from 100 years or more past. A great place to do business.

We visit the Apple Bank in Scarsdale NY and we met with the Assistant Manager Thomas Papaloannou who helped us with investing our money.He is very educated and professional and explains everything in terms you understand. We will continue to do business with Apple Bank as they offer the best rates. The staff is very knowledgeable and polite. Would reccommend this Bank.John & Lorraine

If I could give Apple bank no stars I would do that. This is towards Rosie the customer service agent on their phone which apparently is the only one working there. I conferenced in my elderly father on the phone because I live in a different state and he needs help ordering an atm card. She wouldn’t let me clarify her questions to him when he didn’t understand the jargon she used. She reprimanded me for speaking even though my father granted me permission. And then she said she couldn’t order him a card and he would have to go to the branch after badgering us on the phone for 40 minutes I finally flipped out on her because of the stress we are going through. He clear as day requested to to order a card to use and she thinks he’s going to give it to me. It’s not her place to “”think” she should’ve said ok sir you want a card let me verify your information. That’s different why is she asking him personal information such as what do you want to use the atm card for? What is it her business

I have yet to have a hassle free transaction at the not very local Apple Bank. Online banking does not appear to be any easier. Will be closing the account at Apple Bank tomorrow and going to the local Credit Union. I am sorry I opened it in the first place.

This bank refuses to release POD funds to my sister and I obo our teenage children. Even though we are the parents with full custody and co-executors of the will, they are insisting that we endure an expensive and lengthy process of having a guardian - who will end up being us- appointed to handle the funds for our own children. My father had numerous POD accounts with various banks with minor grandchildren as beneficiaries, and Apple was the only one that gave a problem. There are so many other banks to do business with, so I recommend avoiding Apple to avoid a hassle.

OfDo not go to this Bank go somewhere else I was a customer for years at Apple Bank I needed a new card replaced and I waited 8 Days never got it told me they were going to expedite a new card I waited another 3 days I never got it and when they check my account they had a flag mark on my account so I had to go to the when I went to the branch the manager was rude to me and told me to go to the post office I never received my card I close my account and took my service somewhere else and I got a card at another branch horrible service horrible customer service and horrible management please don't do any service with Apple Bank

I will not advise anyone to choose this bank. i've been trying to access my acct for several days now. I'm in Europe my husband in NY. We have a joint acct. For a reason I still don't know they disabled me from accessing my account. My husband has gone to the branch trying to solve this situation but they tell him he can't do anything. I talked to them 3 times from where I am in Europe, they keep me waiting on and off for 45 minutes trying to talk to someone who knows how to deal with this. At some point it seems the situation is solved, but after a couple of hours it comes back again in a worst manner. This is one of the worst systems I've experience. Don't get into this bank. I will move out of it to another bank as soon as I'm back in NY. Meantime I'm thinking about writing a claim to the better business bureau. Thanks to this bank I'm loosing money.

Applebank is the worst bank I have encountered in my entire life. Getting anything done with them is an ordeal and takes multiple calls to customer service. We have been trying to link an external account to our accounts at Apple to transfer money out and for months, we have been unable to complete this. The website always fails at linking the accounts. We also get contradictory information when we contact customer service - to change address one person tells us we need to mail the form and another says we can upload it to a message. I am at the point that if they do not link our accounts I am filing complaints with appropriate federal agencies. We would close out the accounts if it were not for Covid and we cannot do this without going into a branch which we will not do. Their website is archaic - cannot see profile to confirm address, cannot make changes online, cannot do anything online so it is a total waste. Stay away from this bank!

After being a loyal customer for 20 years, Apple fell apart. Rates went from best to worse with a sizable turnover of new employees (teller's and desk representatives) being slow and rude. Terrible customer service on the West 23rd Street Branch. This location in particular is a nightmare. As a whole they don't know what they're doing there. Even short-changed me on interest which I had to re-calculate and inform them and they corrected it. I'm so glad I closed all my accounts. I won't recommend them and the Branch Manager is not helpful as they just don't care about pleasing their customers.

Unfortunately this bank doesnt seem to improve or innovate with the times. Their overall customer service in every aspect is horrible! If you visit one of their branches, their employees are never inviting or approachable. They mostly act like they have a chip on their shoulders. If your debit card stops working or is damage, the branch cant help you. You are forced to call their cust srvc number which i must say doesnt work well either. The calls clearly go international call centers and the representative usually are lacking information or seem confuse. Once you do order your card you have to wait 7-10 days to receive. Nothing has changed with this bank for more than 10yrs ago!! I been using this bank out of habit but its definitely time to find myself a new bank that appreciates their customers, are eager and willing to help, have empathy with guests when possible and where you can get access and information regarding your account with ease

Dropped this bank years ago. Now bank with USALLIANCE Credit Union. Banking life has been a breeze ever since!!! Apple Bank sucks! Just read my old review again ... can't believe I didn't mention the time they cancelled my debit card over a weekend while I was still in possession of it. No way to withdraw money at all. When I went to the branch Monday morning they said they got a report the card was lost ... I never reported that and was holding the card in my hand. They then informed me "they don't do temporary cards" so I had to wait a week for a new one in the mail. The very definition of horrible service. Good riddance!!! I can't believe they're still in business.
