Allison was the most helpful. I was trying to upload all of my stuff on cloud as I was swiping phones and I didn't wanna lose any of my deceased father's voicemails. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was saved. I'm so grateful to meet people like Allison. Thank you for your help and this was at the 14th Street in Manhattan location

Lifelong iPhone user. Just spent 45 minutes in this store, ready to buy a new phone. Asked 3 different people for help but no one had time. Should've been a fun trip...now I'm looking at non-iPhones. So terribly disappointing.

Such smooth service! I had an appointment with a 15min window to puck up my pre-ordered Iphone and I was able to walk right in and get my order. Ideal location and great customer service!

Teach that British boy at the Genius Bar how to talk to people. I don't care who you are, you should never put your hand in someone's face, especially when it is just a customer trying to ask a question.

Worst customer service ever at the Genius Bar. I usually have great experiences at the Apple Store but today I got turned down cause he (5’4) didn’t want to do anything when I asked for a cleaning a charge port of my iPad.I wanted them to professionally clean the port so that I won’t have to buy a whole new iPad for $700 which was the only option given. Instead he looked at the port and said it is absolutely fine, not dirty and literally REFUSED to do so. He asked me what I do for living and made me look stupid. It has only been two years using this iPad and I want to do anything I can so that I won’t have to get a whole new one when everything works fine but the porter. So frustrating after spending time to get there and getting treated like this. Worst experience.

I went two weeks ago to Apple store at 14 st in Manhattan, NYC and my phone and iPad was seen by Charles Herard ( not sure if I spelled correctly his last name). He is REALLY GENIUS! He repaired everything so fast and I have old iPad and phone. He was the best worker and Apple store. I went one more time to the same store , two days ago and got different person who could not repair my phone. They told me to come back after one hr and phone will be ready. I came and they said they don’t know why phone is not working even with new battery. I have to go back and I want to see Charles to help me. Nobody else. I know he will know what to do and is also very polite.

Two experiences in the same day.We bought our cellphones here with my husband.The first person doing customer service was amazing and very kind. He took his time to explain about the product and we even decide to buy more accessories because of him.- unfortunately, we decide to go for our cases to the second floor. WeCame back to first floor but this helpful person was gone.The second person in the first floor for the purchase of the second cellphone was very rude, sarcastic.His attitude for customer service it was super rude and unpleasant because of that we drop our decision to buy 2 more laptops.Sometimes we buy things because of the customer service as well.If wouldn’t be for the second person and his attitude I’ll give 5 starts but I can’t doIt.

Every accessory I’ve bought from this store has fallen apart in a year (apple leather iPhone case, mag battery) and each time i come in to replace it I miss the warranty cut off by ~30 days so they tell me I have to buy a new one. @Apple IDK maybe stop designing products to fall apart within a year? @everyone, I guess set a calendar reminder for 360 days after you buy anything from Apple so you can avoid getting scammed? ?

I was a walk-in to the Apple store recently to exchange a new pair of EarPods. A pair that I had just purchased a couple of months ago at the Grand Central store location.An associate on the lower level pointed me in the direction of the Genius Bar, where she said she'd quickly made an appointment for me to have my EarPods examined by a Genius Bar technical associate.When I arrived to the Genius Bar floor, the gentleman at the front of the floor (I believe his name was Yabin - I'm so sorry if I'm getting his name wrong) asked my name, probably saw my EarPods purchase receipt in the Apple system, and he then told me that he'd gladly just switch the faulty EarPods out for a new pair without the hassle of the Genius Bar inspection. Yabin walked me over to an associate, told her to use his manager code to override and I walked in and out of the Apple store in 20 minutes flat. 25 minutes at the VERY most.I used to live blocks from this Apple Store location so I'm very familiar with how busy they can be and how much foot traffic that location gets. And so with that in mind, I can say that I am truly appreciative of how quick yesterday's transaction was handled, without any hassle, and with the customer in mind.Thank you Apple Team! I had a very bad experience with one member of the technical crew. They didn’t back up my old phone correctly after I switched to a new one and because they didn’t let me open my new phone to confirm that it was correctly backed up, a lot of my old pictures and passwords were missing and impossible to recover.

Stopped in looking for a Lightning to HDMI adaptor. This location did not have one in stock but the Upper West side location did. I had to find this out the hard way though. Despite the store being empty no one could take the time to look up if the item was available anywhere else. I was told I was going to have to order the dongle online. This was not the case. Thanks Apple team. ???

I came in here twice, both times to get information on a broken MacBook and then on buying a new one and both times I the employees were patient and helpful. I spoke to Jason (I think is his name) in the Genius Bar and he was great. I didn't feel rushed at all and I had tons of questions. He offered to help me if I wanted to come back with my hard drive and mov everything from one laptop to another. The next time I came in, Deanna helped me, and she was wonderful! I'll be back should I ever have anymore questions!
