This is an unlikely location for an Apple store. It's too close to the Fifth Ave store and leave most of the Upper West Side uncovered. But I'm not complaining. We all can use more Apple stores, not fewer.

Lovely Apple Store it is located close to Juilliard and other attractions. The area is worth checking out.The store has the latest items and it’s a seamless process to make appointment.

Great customer service and very quick overall experience, I came here to buy an iPhone charger. Like the east side location this store was underground following an interesting spiral mirrored staircase. This location however is smaller and less home electronics on display. Within seconds of walking down the stairs an employee was already showing me options for a charger; I likely was in and out of the store win 3 minutes including the stairs walk.

Been to this location several times in the UWS when in the area. Good to look around and see what the latest phones, ipads, watches, etc are. However, all very pricey... There are 2 levels and staff will help you with any questions you may have on any of their products. Good to get a comparison of the different features when comparing before buying. Do your own research as well before making the final purchase. Air tags and charging cables and dockers are downstarrs. There is always something new coming out.

Took my laptop here for repair. After a 3hr wait they finally took the laptop in. The laptop had a screensaver and no-one told me to remove it. They returned it without its screensaver. When I inquired they mocked me. Terrible customer service. Plus they stole or destroyed my property. Don't go there.

The employees are helpful and kind. It can get pretty busy, so going in without an appointment can leave you waiting for a while. I recommend making an appointment, it is easy and speeds up the process. You can make an appointment for any service you're going there for, even just to have an employee talk to you about different devices and such. The genius bar is downstairs, so if you go in for a repair, it is best to head straight down stairs.

The lady who was with us for quite a long time, had the patience of an angel. She had a great attitude and a genuine desire to please. I never felt rushed and pressured. She’s really a true gem. Please pass my congratulations on a fantastic job. Loved her.

I would give a -10 … but there is not a -10 listed. Horrible experience every single time I walk into a Genius Bar. Why is it “genius bar” when no one seems to fix the issue. It seems like Apple has figured out a way to get people hooked and then…. Let them hang. This is my 2nd time on a different issue with an Apple product. I had such a bad experience with Genius Bar last time that it gives me nightmares to think of going back to geniuses.Alas, we are here with an other issue. We purchased 2 Apple Watches from AT&T about a month ago. One watch works fine but the other one has battery issues. The battery depletes every night without fail. Sometimes it’s at 68% to 98% percent when going to bed. But every night around 3 or 4 am makes a noise and dies. One in person store visit to fix. All soars of question and bravado to no avail. A week later a call in to an Apple technician with the same issue. The phone technician asked the questions and did exactly the same thing to with same result. Nothing.Third in-person visit - same exact question and diagnostic with the same exact result. But this time she did analytics to see that there is a is an issue. The battery is on but looking deeper into it she found that for no reason the battery plummets. But again no resolution. Her approach was “your phone is not updated to 17.01 software. You have to do that first so see it fixes this issue. If it doesn’t you will need to come back”. this one was a ‘real genius’. How are these people trained? Also, what qualifications do they have to be Apple agents. Clearly SHE could see an issue but refuse to rectify it. Apple with all the billions you make - fix your ‘geniuses’.So we came home and updated the software and unpaired and paired the watch. Surprise, same result Apple - battery dead. Jesus. Now I have to go back and work with one of your geniuses. God help me. They will ask the same questions and same nonsense with no result.Horrible geniuses. When the Apple product work it’s great. When it doesn’t - no one seems to be able to fix it.It’s a waste of time ….

My native language is Spanish and I had to wait an hour and a half for someone to help me and when that person came I couldn't understand him and he couldn't help me. Since I arrived I said that I only spoke Spanish and they sent me someone who didn't understand me. They changed my phone a few months ago and the one I received has problems and now they don't want to return it.

Nice people but why would they plug in and turn on a MacBook Air that had water damage instead of opening it up and drying it first. Apparently what they should have done is open, check where the water is and then dry it. Once it’s completely dry, then and only them you can try plugging it in to see if it can be revived using the diagnostic tools they have. Now I will be buying a new computer likely because they fried the old one if it had any chance of working again.

5 stars: Laneek is super helpful. Really stuck around to ensure my issue was dealt with. Very proactive and customer-oriented mentality.1 Star: Lots of staff walking around, but also lots of customers waiting for service ?. Staff who was assigned to help me had a really big attitude when I asked for an ETA. They don’t pick up the phone at 9:05AM after they open so it gets routed to a call center. HQ needs to put in new management because it’s not on brand to be this messy.

Very shocked that I was treated so poorly. I have never been threaded to be “kicked out” or anywhere for expressing frustration after explaining myself 3 different times…Seems the basement level needs some training from Cupertino. The techs Madeline and Patricia obviously understand customer service and what New York City customer service is, but the manager (who tried to direct me to a survey instead of speaking to a higher level manager) needs to understand that I am in a multinational store and not a gym owned by his parents.Someone needs to explain to me what was done to be threatened to be removed from the store…

The staff was wonderful! I was really frustrated and unfortunately didn’t have any other option to fix my problem, but they were patient and welcoming. Thank you for your assistance, Genius Bar team.

This location has gone waaaaay downhill in service. (And attitude and expertise.) When genius couldn't solve my problem, I asked if they could please consult with another team member (A common thing they used to suggest they do themselves , which I appreciated!) This person very reluctantly said ok, walked away and instead of talking to another Apple person, went on to another customer! That was a first! (Been coming here since they opened. Never happened before.) I finally flagged down another member and eventually was helped. What a sad, steep decline in service, attitude and expertise!!

It was a great customer experience; and my issue was resolved in a matter of a couple minutes. I will absolutely recommend the Apple store/Genius Bar to anyone who asks.
