Arlo SoHo is a hotel in a great TriBeCa location with perfect walkability and close subway proximity. The staff is friendly, nice, and responsive. Rooms are small, quaint, basic, and a bit run down, with some broken details and a lack of finishing. They are fairly typical for NYC, not well isolated, but not noisy. Views of the courtyard are great, and the rooftop bar is okay. The hotel has a nicely stocked 24/7 convenience store in the lobby. It is a fair choice for a short stay, offering decent but not fantastic value.
Good Hotel, well placed, great bar and food Rooms are small for my taste. I guess it's a trend. In NYC choose the hotel by the places you're going to be in most. Hard to spend a lot of time in a hotel room in NYC. 😉
