Our interior designer purchased a wall mirror directly from Arteriors - she failed to consider the measurements of the mirror for our space so needless to say it did not work for us. On top of that, the mirror came terribly assembled with the metal piece attached unevenly. She contacted Arteriors to request a return but they demanded a 25% restocking fee plus shipping cost - pretty ridiculous and hundreds of dollars loss to us. The same mirror is available from lulu & georgia (with a lower MSRP nonetheless) who does not charge a restocking fee. While I blame our designer for not taking into account the measurements of the mirror, I am completely turned off by the customer experience with Arteriors and needless to say will be avoiding their merchandise going forward (especially since its poor quality).

Some of the lights are so exquisite and so are some furniture pieces.

My interior designer purchased a chandelier for a bedroom but it could not be placed for structural reasons which were not apparent until the electrician came to put it up. Arteriors has a 25% restocking fee which is steep but their policy. We then learned the chandelier could have been purchased from several reputable online vendors for the same price who have no restocking fee for returns. In light of that finding, the designer requested a courtesy credit so that we could purchase another item but that was denied. Designers usually purchase from companies directly but with Arteriors it appears you will be penalized. Needless to say I will not be using any of their lighting for my house build.

Love Arteriors for lighting accessories and occasional pieces and use them as a resource on almost all our design projects at FODesign
