They did a fantastic job working with insurance and fixing our car after a fender bender. Very communicative and professional. They even returned my car cleaned inside and out! I would highly recommend.

I had two accidents on either side of the car. It looked awful. Auto Tech collision is an authorized body shop for Geico. I never expected to get an elevated experience. 1) the car repairs were FLAWLESS 2) they detail your car - I seriously didn’t even recognize it when I picked it up and 3) the staff are friendly, helpful and trustworthy. Highly recommend them!!!

UPDATE: A few months after these folks rebuilt the back end of my car, the fuel gauge stopped working. I brought it in and they some diagnostic tests, discovering that the problem was electrical. They explained the problem, although they can't fix it, they only do body work. NO CHARGE.

We've been hit a couple of times when stopped because of a red light or the car in front of us is stopped but other drivers must have thought they could drive right through us. That being said we've used Autotech a few times and they've always been amazing! They're honest and do a wonderful job! Everything always winds up looking like new. They were even calming after my car was hit after having it for just a few months. They've always worked well with our insurance company. I trust and love these guys so much that I've called them for advice and recommendations on other automotive needs as well. I just wish they did tune ups and such.

Exemplary service and experience. Every interaction I had was pleasant and helpful. The owner is a really nice guy who is honest, transparent and solution-oriented.I took my Polestar 2 here after having a terrible experience elsewhere. I originally took the car to Volvo Manhattan, which sent it to its exclusive body work partner, A.M. Collision. I was told the repair would take 6-8 weeks and didn’t even get an estimate for over a month, which came back dramatically overpriced and caused a stalemate with the claims adjuster.Autotech charged nearly half of the hourly labor rate and had my Polestar 2 done is just a few weeks. The work was perfect and is guaranteed, which is pretty remarkable considering the owner was upfront about the fact that it would be the shop’s first Polestar (there aren’t any Polestar Certified Collision Centers yet).Autotech is a Volvo Certified Collision Center and the owner confirmed they would have access to Polestar parts, so I was comfortable working with them and they absolutely exceeded expectations.If you live in NYC and your Polestar has body damage, this is the place to take it!

They did a good job and helped me with my insurance paperwork. Very thorough.Parking your vehicle while youre there can be a little tricky but they accommodate to the best of their ability given the location.

I damaged almost the whole driver's side of my car. The staff was efficient, courteous and friendly. The car looked perfect when I picked it up. It was ready 5 days earlier than expected. I hope I never have to use them again, but would not hesitate if I need to. Thanks Autotech!

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. The staff is attentive and listens. I spoke with Mike the other day and he thoroughly explained the steps I should take and what in specific would be done. He offered a multitude of advice and recommended how I can handle the situation I was in with my car. I had an estimate done by Kam as well a while back and he was also great, respectful, descriptive, and helpful. Today, I spoke with George who immediately told me its $100 for each individual part being assessed. This never was explained to me by either person mentioned before. He kept repeating the same thing over and over and over and obviously did NOT want to do his job. He told me that to get a door panel, tail light, and plastic cover for the undercarriage would be $400 just for him to write the estimate. He then again said the same thing over and over and over "goto a mechanic, have him put it on a lift. I can't do this estimate. Im not going to risk my license." I needed parts, paint, and body work; not mechanical work. I left and called back to inquire about why he would tell me its $400 to write up an estimate, the guy who answered the phone passed me to George who I had absolutely no interest in talking to. I asked who I spoke to outside and he responded with "Who's asking!?" He then said to me "Don't waste my time, I am the manager" and didn't let me ask one question, trying to talk over me and kept repeating the same thing over and over and over like I don't speak the same language as him. He was not interested in doing his job, tried to pass me off to another business, and is an obvious liar. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for auto body repair as its a great shop and has an awesome staff, except for George. Don't ever get a quote by him, if he actually even attempts to write one.

February 2022 - I had such a great experience at AutoTech on W 57th St, I was pleasantly surprised. We've all had the disappointment of putting our trust in the wrong place from time to time, but this was the opposite experience.I had an insurance claim replace the rear bumper from a parking lot accident, and I wanted to add some improvements of my own, to spruce up the car in several ways.As a detail-oriented person, all of my questions, concerns, emails & messages were managed in a professional yet friendly, competent, and timely way, that acknowledged all the details I brought to the work I had in mind. I had the feeling that car owners' love and appreciation for their cars is shared at AutoTech Collision...which is really what we all want from any service, caring for our concerns and the quality of the results.I enjoyed meeting Sharon, Danny, and Kam when I first arrived, while the work was presented, all along the way, and on the day I came for the finished product.Mostly I was trading thoughts and concerns with Kam, by email and a few phone calls, but I have to give credit to everyone, including the behind-the-scenes body shop workers who took care of all the work itself.Kam's input was valuable including excellent advice for my decision making. Pricing was very fair for the out-of-pocket work I chose to take care of, to bring my car back to a much better appearance, and to leave me feeling happy and relieved when it was all done. The estimate was super detailed and if anything was different along the way and in the end, it was a sense that I got more than I expected.I hope you'll have a good experience with AutoTech Collision, too...tell them Jeff sent you! LOL

Geico reccomended this shop for some collision damage work, so we had the car towed there. I made an inquiry to Geico about the authorization forms, and they asked me to wait several hours to clarify what I should do. The owner of Autotech then called me and decided that he could not wait for Geico, and that he would not fix the car. The guy gave up an easy $13,000 job because he could not wait ten minutes, which is how long after his tantrum that Geico cleared up the issue. Now, Geico has to move the car to another shop, wasting more time and money. The owner was rude and had a tantrum on the line, because I was unable to speak for Geico. I would choose no stars for this place.
