The slightly clunky name here is there for a reason: it stands for 'Best of the Best Quality chicken'. They follow it through with Korean fried chicken of exceptional quality. Well, they've been doing this for more than 25 years and boast more than 100 restaurants across the US, so they know what they're up to.
The menu leads with fried chicken and wings. They look the business, with options such as soy garlic, honey garlic, galbi and gang-jeong ? fried chicken dressed in a sauce derived from soy with hints of cinnamon and chilli. Alongside the main event are things like kimchi fried rice, budae jjam pong tang (Korean army stew) and jjim-dak ? a dish of sweet and spicy chilli-braised chicken with bell peppers, onion, rice cake and potato.
Fun fact: BB.Q Chicken has set up a 'Chicken University' in South Korea, with six lecture rooms and an R&D center run by 33 full-time researchers dedicated to improving the chicken the group sells.
