This review is based on my in store experience at Best Buy @ Bronx Terminal Market . After waiting for 20 minutes to purchase an iPad and do a trade the manager stated I was not allowed to transfer my data from one device to another. He stated since it was a trade he would need to wipe out my old device before opening the box of the device I was purchasing. Customer service stated they never heard of anything as such . I left the store without making the purchase which was more valuable to him then allowing it to be done

After browsing this Best Buy store for a potential new Television and Sound Bar to watch the Super Bowl this Sunday, on my way out of the store I was asked by one of their male employees (who wasn’t even wearing his name tag) that he search my book bag.Of course I complied because I did not want to start a scene, but this greatly caught me off guard, not to mention I was in a rush to get to work.I have no idea what may have caused him, their male Security Guard, or the store to believe that I had stolen something, but I was utterly disgusted and had a nasty taste in my mouth as I exited the store.If something like this ever happens to me again at any Best Buy store going forward, mark my words I will ask to speak to a manager immediately.If you’re reading this at this very moment, you’ve been warned. My advice for you would be to leave any sort of bag of any kind at home if you’re headed to this Best Buy store.I love Best Buy, but I will never, ever enter this store again for as long as I live.

I like this store. It's well spread and navigation is easy. It does have all you would expect to find at a Best Buy. Oh and customer service was awesome to me.

Good luck getting anyone in the camera department to help. Waited for 25+ minutes for someone to open a case, finally just ended up leaving with nothing. Go shop at B&H or Adorama where someone will actually help you.

I miss the chance to fill out my survey in October but Amaya was more than helpful, she helped me with my product and the store manager was great as well (her name slips my mind). Definitely will shop at this location for a possible Television.

Do not buy anything from #bestbuy , especially in #Bestbuyunionsquare, w/o opening the box first, especially when it's an Apple product because I bought a new iPad Pro on Saturday and when I got home the box wasn't sealed and the screen was cracked! The both managers Ricky and Anna didn't want to exchange it bc I took home! #bestbuycorporate told them it was purchased on Saturday 1/27/24, and it should be replaced, but she wouldn't budge! How's a consumer supposed to know if something's wrong unless they unpack the product?! I will never buy anything from Best Buy in Union Square after all the stuff I bought from them! The management team there sucks big time and no one should endure what I did for the first time I ever bought anything from that location!!! Big Thumbs Down for them! Those managers should not be there managing anything! They need real employees who are dedicated to the customers not their EGOS!!! SMH!

Not reliable for PC parts. Online inventory is not accurate with what’s in store - called beforehand to confirm availability and wasted my time coming to the store. Ended up purchasing on Amazon for 1-day delivery instead.

Bought a MacBook ( midnight blue ) today with my mom and sister. JD helped a lot. Was also patient and respectful. JD recommend a lot and took his advice. Never received an email to rate my experience, JD definitely deserves a 10/10!
