What can I say, Big Apple is the beating heart and soul of New York City’s Diamond district. Without them the dream of New York would not be complete, they have a great reputation and one of the few business in Rockefeller I truly respect. Everyone that works there is a Gem and I would recommend them without hesitation.

I was unsure of going to a pawn shop but I really needed the cash. I read the reviews here on yelp before going Big Apple General Buyers. Dima and Juan really live up to their reputation. They both genuinely care. They take their time with you and explain everything. They will get you the most they can with low interest. They make you comfortable and don't pressure you. Somene few stores down offred me 4000 dollars for my Gia stone and then i went to these guys and they axtually paid me 8000. You have to be assertive and go right up. There are guys outside from next door, they want you to go to their store. Ignore them. I am sure glad I did my research and I assure you Dima and Juan will never take advantage of you. Most genuine people I ever met. I cant thank you guys enough!!!!

I was looking to sell a broken jewelry and found Big Apple General Buyers on yelp so I decided to give them a shot. They accept walk-ins but it's probably better to call and make an appointment you're not waiting in line to be seen. Their office is conveniently located in midtown, building and office is secure. Dimitriy promptly greeted me and said he didn't want me to wait to be seen since I had an appointment (although they had few people waiting) which I really appreciated. He was friendly, professional, and honest- he presented a fair offer on my jewelry and explained how he reached that number. I didn't feel like he was low balling me or pressuring me to sell at all, It only took about 10 minutes and I left with a good impression of the company so I'll definitely be back to sell/ buy! Highly recommend checking them out (they're open on Saturday).

Dima was extremely helpful. I came in right before closing and he stopped everything and talked us through our item. He broke down how and why he would sell for the price he offered. I was extremely appreciative not only of his time but kindness in helping me find a price that worked.
