I'd always wanted to try an eyeliner but never got to do that because of my sensitive eyes. After listening to me, Di showed me a variety of options and did demonstration on my eyes patiently one after one while I was not able to set on one. Thanks to her deep knowledge on the skin and the product, I was finally able to find what I liked. I also loved a mild exfoliator she recommended for my skin. I'm going to Di and her team from now on for whatever skin needs I may have. She is the best!

I had the best experience with Dee! She was patient, made great makeup suggestions, showed me exactly how to use my choices and wasn't pushy.

I went in a few weeks ago seeking advice on upping my makeup game with a more updated look. I was so happy to have been fortunate enough to be paired up with Jeanne. She did a wonderful job of showing me what to use and how to use it. I couldn't be happier with the Trish McEvoy products she suggested and I've gotten many compliments since using them. I'll definitely be returning for more in the future.

Disgusting and rude customer service.I walk-in the store and the sales associate doesn't speak to me at all.Some random associate yells hello from the back of the store. The associate that doesn't speak to me is helping someone else and doesn't even acknowledge my presence.So when I finally get someone to help me to get the product I want, he then proceeds to tell me to wait hold on and walk to the back of the store.At this point I just leave the store because I've been waiting for no apparent reason. The absurd part of all this is that there's only one other customer in the Store .

If u read the reviews there are a lot pf people appalled at service or employees. I went back 3 times to give them the benefit of the doubt. I did notice people they knew were received better but with such a small store and 5 to 6 staff members its odd that service is hit and miss. If i were u just order on line. They really couldnt answer questions about some products or they dont ASK a team member.Sales probably do well...its the location. THERE is business research on why some locations do well inspite of the team.This store is an enigma and a wink link in this chain....poor pun I know.

I have been a Blue Mercury customer for many years, but this location gets the zero for atmosphere and client service. The Staff seems to always have an attitude that just does not deliver friendly, helpful, and willingness. Too much personal chats among those who work there. Poor management on every occasion.

First time here. Small store with approximately seven customers in it. Five employees visible. One on her smartphone. Two helping customers. One cleaning. Walked through the store three times looking for someone to answer a product question. Interrupted the young man cleaning. He didn’t know about products but called upon a co-worker who supposedly did. She told me the product I was looking for didn’t exist, told me I was using what I had incorrectly, and walked away. When I returned home, I checked the sample I had gotten from another Blue Mercury store. It was exactly what I was told did not exist.Poor customer service. Poor product knowledge. Expected more from a store with such expensive products. Intended to treat myself for my birthday, but certainly won’t do that here.

Every time I come to this location I am so impressed by the excellent level of customer service. I’ve always talked to a different team member and each time they are wonderful and go above and beyond. Can’t recommend this location and team enough.

Bluemercury Union Square has been my favorite store and location for years now. Great selection of products. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff in every department skincare, fragrance, makeup and so forth. Highly recommend asking for Lauren she is sincerely amazing. Genuine, completely honest with opinion on brands, quality and value versus might be paying a little more for a name but if in search of something more in your budget gives you honest feedback and opinion. She'll tell you what you do and don't need in case you go overboard which, I may have tendency to do. Jackie, San, Ari and Tracy are all great and everyone works well to make the shop a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend

Well, I've been shopping in this store for the last year and a half or so, and am loving it. The people working there are *always* welcoming and incredibly helpful - without being pushy. I'm probably leaving out some wonderful people, but Lauren and Jacqui truly terrific. They all are, but I've had the most experience shopping with these two ladies. They make it fun to shop here. The products are great, the store is always clean, and they've really been adding new lines in the last couple of years. They are what Sephora could've been
