Very welcoming place from the entrance. The address was easy to locate on the building and upon entry the receptionist greeted with a warm smile. Well lit, the spacious community area gave way to private nooks to carry out private conversations and manage private business. The elevators made the building accessible as well as multiple restrooms for all. Excellent place to learn and entertain.

Such a unique and much needed space for the Queer community in NYC! This is probably one of the best LGBT bookstores in the city. The owner is very kind and friendly and the bookstore is actually inside the LGBT Center on the second floor

Great selection of Queer zines, books, and ephemera. Love coming for the special exhibitions and programs, and walking into the Center, and peeking in at the Keith Haring mural.

Such a lovely place! A bit hard to find, but amazing once you get there. Reminds me of Hares & Hyenas in Melbourne. Support your local queer bookshop, folks!

I attended an event for a book that I wasn't aware of beforehand, but that was alright. This is biased, since I can't resist some good gossip(included in the presentation), but they had a really strong speaker partner with them to deliver the talk. I won't get into the politics, but when attending an talk you can expect the live version of those think piece articles you see when you open a new tab on firefox or microsoft edge. Or a TED talk or something similar.

I love this place! It is one of the few remaining LGBTQIAPlus bookstores in the United States, and an independent bookseller, to boot. The volunteers are friendly, professional, helpful, and are genuinely enthusiastic about what they do. Also, there are so many literary events that take place there, that offer so many options for those of us who love LGBTQIAPlus literature. I cannot wait to return.
