Sad cheeseburger and cold sweet potato fries. Dirty tables and seats. The food is served on paper plates and in greasy paper bags. Good atmosphere, but the sorry excuse for a hamburger makes the experience bad. It might have been a bad day for the restaurant, but I would actually prefer a big Mac compared to what I got here. Also extremely expensive for the quality. $72 for two people, when the quality is worse than a chain burger restaurant, is not acceptable. Especially since there is no table service.

Overrated burger. But the worse part was that, after waiting in line for more than half an hour, there was no place to sit down after I got my food because all the groups at the back of a really long line were taking up all the tables while they sat there and looked at their phones. Extremely frustrating to spend nearly $40 for a burger and fries only to have to go eat it outside next to the street.

Beautiful place, very hidden and hard to find. Enter the hotel past the reception, go right and there is a red awning straight ahead. Go beyond the tent and find the room.

These cheeseburgers and toppings are ‘chefs kiss’ delicious. Lines moves quick and food comes out efficiently.

Repulsive and disgusting place, they let you stand for an hour, there are no tables to sit, a huge queue and the hamburger is low level, there is no service at all, they lie, there is a curtain, they say how many people and let them in, then again there is a queue inside, completely stupid, don't come close, it's not worth the wait and the priceRepulsive and disgusting place, they let you stand for an hour, there are no tables to sit, a huge queue and the hamburger is low level, there is no service at all, they lie, there is a curtain, they say how many people and let them in, then again there is a queue inside, completely stupid, don't come close, it's not worth the wait and the price

They say you have the best burger in New York, and I have to say that in my experience this was the case, the meat was good. The service was a bit arrogant, they got the milkshakes wrong and didn't want to give us separate bills! The strong point is the setting, the place is hidden inside a luxurious hotel, only with guides or by searching for information can you find it.At the end of the red curtains is its entrance, I liked it.

Good little hidden burger spot.

The burgers are serviceable. They offer a GF bun but I doubt they're really concerned about cross contamination so if you're very sensitive to gluten, probably not the spot for you. Interestingly hidden behind big red curtains inside of the Thompson Hotel with graffiti everywhere. Sounds like it was incredible a number of years ago.Sweet potato fries were good and 1 order is easily enough for 2 people.

What an experience... this burger joint is hidden inside The Thompson Central Park Hotel behind the red velvet curtains. A pretty suave entrance soon changes to a typical burger joint with lots of selection for both food and drinks. It was quite busy when we visited but it was worth the wait. Note - our guidebook said it was situated in the Le Parker Meridien Hotel, but they switched names... or something!
