I love the bank but here in Jersey City all of the branches are closing. It's making me nervous. The only Capital One ATM I can find is in Journal Square. It's only an ATM where are the banks going!

ATM is not 24 hours. The only Capital one by my job. Not nearby but other locations closed down. Can not go during my work hours.

Today I had the absolute worst banking experience in my life. I'm expecting an urgent business wire. For two days, the Capitol One website wouldn't allow me to access my account. No explanation given, just a message saying, "We're at work on it," whatever "it" refers to. This has happened more times than not over the years. I called the number on the screen, got an automated voice that claimed none of my spoken or keyed in replies could be understood. I pressed #1 and was told "I didn't get that" six times. Finally, it disconnected me. So I phoned a local branch, was told I needed to speak to someone in customer service, was transferred, put on hold for 30 minutes with no recorded message telling me I was in the queue or that anyone would even answer. Finally, this cut me off too. Just the worst. I'm closing my account.

I went on Wednesday July to this 1166 6th ave New York location branch and there was worst lady name Heather at front counter teller capital one bank at 6th ave this location was the most disrespectful & had no good manners & she was worst & horrible at the front teller. I went on Wednesday to withdraw the money and I asked her I want to withdraw the money and she said what are you saying I cannot understand I said little loudly and then she tells me why are you yelling I said WHAT. I told her U said you cannot hear so I had to be little loud and then she tells me I'm rude I told her in what way I'm rude, then she again tells me I don't have time to argue, I said ma'am what's wrong with you are you having bad days so why are you taking it on me. Then said excuse me. This worst staff name heather needs to learn some good manners. Worst n zero customer service. This heather front counter staff had serious problems.. my god what a bad attitude this heather had.! Heather at front counter lady staff was worst & very very RUDE & she was very ARROGANT & had bad attitude to me. No greetings no smile and heather had very bad zero customer service. Won't ever go back to this capital one bank branch location and heather needs to learn some good manners. Zero customer service. Very disappointing service by heather. Won't at all recommend this capital one bank location..

Without warning,without explanation , Capitol One Bank locked me out of my bank account. It took a day and half of frustrating technology, rep after rep who disconnected on the phone, password reset after password reset, verification after verification when they knew it was me as a rep who sounded like a robot talked over me with a prefab spiel. First I had to wait 24 hours before trying again when my long estabished user name and password were not recognized What. followed were stupid unnecessary reset procedures wasting my time and causing exasperation. I have been with this bank for forty years but am considering leaving it after this horrible experience. I would not recommend Capitol One's online banking or its insensitive, robotic employees after this harrowing experience.

Capital one is terrible. My husband has been a very loyal customer. In August of 2022, my husband's credit card was comprised he had it deactivated, and they were to send a new one. Here it is, February 2023, and we have not received a new card, but we have received charges almost monthly since August on a card we no longer have it was comprised and deactivated. My husband calls customer service, and they send him to the fraudulent department she proceeds to tell him that they allow some companies to still charge on deactivated cards. All calls are recorded, so we have proof of the cancelation of the card and for them to send us a new one, which we never received. We paid the bill and canceled all services with them. Never have to deal with them again. I had to choose a rating, one star is the lowest they have.

STAY AWAY!!! 1. Customer service is atrocious!! This is really not up for debate, I am sure if you read ANY review you will see example of bad it is. 2. They will hold YOUR MONEY hostage using security features YOU do not want, do not need and never asked for!! I typically use my Cap One debt card for food, the gym, clothes (small day to day purchases) however I wanted to buy a $1,600 item from Amazon and they blocked the purchase thru my bank account AND thru my debt card. Apparently this is a security feature that flag purchases that are out of the ordinary. Fine, I accept that but.... ***I called the bank personally 2x and they REFUSED to lift this security feature and give me access to MY OWN MONEY to let the purchase to thru. I am being inconvenienced due to the illegal actions of someone else. This is like being jealous of your current bf/gf because your last one cheated. Why am I not allowed to spend my OWN money, bc other people commit fraud. Even when I called to verify the purchase they REFUSED to allow the purchase to go thru. I do not know how this is possibly legal but I immediately closed my account! Do yourself a favor and bank literally ANYWHERE else!! Keeping your money in a shoebox is a better idea than banking here.

I had an important situation to resolve yesterday and I was going to be in this immediate neighborhood, so I was glad for the convenience. HOWEVER: the situation at this branch is *atrocious*. I walked in and discovered that there wasn't a single employee at any of the desks. The situation I needed to take care of was absolutely not something that a teller could do; it was a very complex issue that required a *banker*. There were many people in line and I was in agonizing pain (I'm in need of having two knee replacements), so I went to one of the teller lines and politely told the customer at the window that I just needed to ask the teller a quick question. I then asked the teller why there wasn't anyone at any of the desks, and she said that all of the bankers were at the *teller* windows (?!). *Then*, the customer at that window became very nasty towards me - and then the person at the *teller's window* joined in on the nastiness! The whole situation was totally unacceptable (huge understatement).

worst company, I've been a customer since 2018 and i open a secure credit card and i make perfect on time payments and they haven't switched my secured card to a credit card. and my credit line is still the same amount i started with

I have been banking at this location for 13 years and this was by far the worst experience I've ever encountered. I was at the teller window for 40 mins for a transaction, even with someone else assisting. I did this same transaction a month ago and it took 10 mins. I am someone with a banking background and I understand protocol, but this was unbelievable. I have been to this location several other times in the past and the customer service is underwhelming. More training is needed!

This bank is awful. I needed to open a new checking account for one of my companies, and wanted to try out Capital One. Khadijah, the banker I talked to, was completely incompetent and extremely disrespectful. Totally wasted my time

You guys used to give me 24 hr grace period. Without any notice I am suddenly not getting the grace period. Nobody will call me back about this issue. I believe the account was initially set up incorrectly, but I am thinking about getting a lawyer, because i'm sure i'm not the only one suffering from this. I am a small business and this is a nightmare. I spoke with "Allie" id number whf946 and she was able to nothing to explain the problem or help in any way.

Very Disappointing Bank. Use another bank for your business' banking!. They will tell you Anything to get you to sign up (in order to possibly make a quota) but they won't deliver.
