Pene Ala Vodka just tasted like tomato sauce. Fettucini Alfredo was bland. Way overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this place. A basic pizzeria would make better food.

Cozy little NYC Italian joint. Good atmosphere, clean dining area. Food was nothing to crow about. Not great, but not bad--although the flatbread pizzas were rather disappointing. Sat at the bar, and Maria the bartender was awesome! Attentive, charming, good conversation, would go back just to chat again!

The food was the biggest waste of $ The lasagna was a blob on the plate, if was not told it was "lasagna " would not have recognized, Alfredo dry and noodles rubbery. All in all $186 worth of waste of $

No wait, plenty of tables. Server acted indifferent we were there. Sat forever before drinks came. We ordered 4 entrees. At this point we've been there about 20 min, plenty of open tables and the server couldn't be bothered with us. I offered to order bread. He said it's coming. But what came was what looked like a hoagie roll in a paper plate. Honestly, this was so disappointing. My "margarita" pizza was just cheese! No tomato. No basil. Chicken in the pasta was undercooked. Pushed to the side. But we were charged extra to add it. We wanted to say something but the next time we saw our server was when he was ready to hand us the bill. No second glasses of wine. No desserts. I won't be back. It was not worth my energy. Way too many Italian places in the burro to worry about this one.

I asked if they could make a dish for me that wasn't on the menu and it was no problem. The space was super cute and it was a much needed place to rest from the rain and walking.

Booked Ceci for our Annual trip into NYC, upon arrival we were hit in the face with the smell of Disinfectant or Furniture Polish. Service was great food (although the portions were on the smaller side) was very good!

Gluten free food available as this was reason we selected the venue. GF pasta was over cooked. Rest of tables food was dry. No veg or sauce made available.Steak served with ketchup. Charging over odds for quality of food.

Food was great. Tables are very close together. Was busy and seemed a person-or-two short staffed, so wait time was a bit longer than expected. Third visit and will certainly return for a fourth.

I wasn't sure from about the restaurant from the outside of the building but once we entered I was pleasantly surprised and the food was lacking presentation but it was delicious

We returned to this NYC gem after two years to experience an outstanding dining experience. From the beginning to the end, the service was impeccable with attention to detail. A small, intimate and welcoming room, the restaurant serves a truly inviting gastronomic journey. Flatbread Pizza was perfect, the Salad a la Casa was phenomenal with the inclusion of fried shallots. The Prix Fixe Dinner was PERFECT. $35 for an exceptional meal in the middle of Theater Row? But moreover, the preparation, presentation and overall taste of each single dish whether it was Eggplant or Mammas Lasagna is why one would return without an enticing promotion! Sauces are simple and delicious. Bread is plentiful and cocktails are served and priced like you are an honored guest. I left only with looking forward to returning once again!

Great place for people with dietary restrictions. We had both Gluten and Dairy free people in our party and their needs were welcomed and easily met. We had a large party that was split between two tables. The restaurant itself is quite small in size but fits a decent amount of people. Only having one bathroom meant there was frequently an awkward line for the restroom blocking the kitchen doors. Food was a resounding 5 stars from the 14 people in our group. The calamari appetizer was the only disappointment on the night. Our waiter was lovely.
