Delicious matcha and very accommodating staff when I wanted to use my own mug. Tried their chocolate matcha which was absolutely delicious. The cafe gets lots of sunlight and it’s great for doing some work or catching up with friends!

The matcha latte was really good but was luke warm. The granola bowl was really good. There was fruit and granola on top of a matcha Greek yogurt. The chorizo burrito was also very flavorful. The service was ok. One lady was nice and helpful but the other was very abrupt and grumpy. The restaurant only seats about 16 people total.

This place has a lot of matcha options, would go again for trying others. But I ordered the Nourish matcha. Given the ingredients didn't have high hopes on the taste, it was okay, but felt somewhat healthy. But it is quite expensive, I paid $8 for that one drink alone.

I loved the bacon and egg sandwich from here! Instead of a bagel, it's served on brioche bread, and with arugula. A fresh take on the classic BEC. Updated modern interiors and great seating both inside, sidewalk, or talk your meal to central park! Staff are very friendly.

Drinks and atmosphere are great! Asked the cashier if they had any sweetner and she rudely cut me off and said no. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe this was a silly question? Still recommend this place and would go again.

Not sure how a place that serves foot hot (e.g. grilled cheese) has NO WAY of heating up a pastry??? Who wants a cold Pain Au Chocolat??? GrossTo make matters worse the entire place smelled like onions, all customers were wiping burning eyes because the smell was so pungent. Just got home and my clothes REEK. Very unsatisfied.

Matcha is first class here…I always get plain iced matcha and it is the real deal. Unsweetened, strong. Would be even better if there were more gluten free options for the pastries. Today there was a single option, a tahini cookie, which looked good but it was in basket with other non gluten free pastries.Dietary restrictions: The one gluten free pastry available was in a container with other non gluten free pastries. So, I’d say, not so gluten friendly.

I would rate this place higher except for three critical points things. One, no bathroom. Two, no wifi on weekends. Three, consistently unfriendly staff. It’s an acceptable place to work on weekdays if you only have a hour or less or for however long you can not use a bathroom after having a drink. Otherwise, I probably would skip it. The food is decent, but pricy (but it’s the UWS). Matcha is fine, but nothing special.

I live really close to this place, which should be awesome, but instead I continuously subject myself to a subpar experience in the hopes that something might change (so really maybe this is a personal problem). The only consistent thing about this place is how disappointing the experience is: multiple orders made wrong, lids that leak or are covered in coffee, no rewards program, and they stop serving espresso at some arbitrary time before they actually close. I’d like to say I’ll never be back, but we all know that’s not true.Though, for what it’s worth, they do have a pretty good chia seed pudding.

The farm house crunch sandwich is pretty good and so is the matcha latte. Skip the avocado toast. It lacked flavor and crunch. The environment is pretty relaxed.

I am so happy this cafe exists, most of the other cafes on Amsterdam are either noisy, have people yelling on cell phones or have bad coffee. This place has a variety of matcha and coffee drinks as well as great pastries, rice bowls and healthy overnight oats.It is very clean and has hard but comfortable seating. The decor is sleek with wood and whitewashed walls.Congratulations to the brilliant owner who conceived the design.Hopefully it will continue to maintain its very high appeal.

This place has nerve. $7 for a small “matcha latte” which is literally a light green cup of milk with no flavor. I know everything on the UWS is overpriced but if you’re going to overpay for something it better at least be good.
