Super rude staff especially that guy named Amit. Today is my birthday and I tried to get my birthday gift ring here. They write closing at 6 pm on Google Maps. I arrived at the store at 5:42pm and they said they already closed the line. That’s unfair and thats not what closing time means in the United States.

Absolutely horrible. I was so excited to visit and was planning to buy a bag and make up. But upon entering, the allocated SA at the bag area was so rude and condescending. She told me off for referring to one of the bags by it's unofficial name and lectured me about the official size names for Coco handles. The make up section was even worse - the middle aged lady stationed there got annoyed when I politely asked what the finish was for a blusher and after only asking her a second question, she snatched the product off my hands and said in a sarcastic and rude manner to just choose one. I've shopped at chanel in many countries and this is definitely number 1 when it comes to horrible service. Rude, condescending and disrespectful. I suggest we take our money somewhere else that respects you and not treat you like rubbish.

I use to shop at Short Hills and decided to stop by this store while in SoHo. The line was quick and the guards were nice which is not the case at other stores. I was greeted by Jay who was smiling and just so nice. He let me look around,was not pushy and asked if i wanted a beverage. The store looks like a warehouse but have pretty things. My time with Jay was great and fun and I will be back just to shop with him

Visited the store today because I am looking to add a cute bag from this season. Store is beautiful. However the sales associate was very snobby, rude and clearly unhappy to help me. I did not feel welcomed at all. Seems like a theme of other reviews. Maybe its time for them to get new associates who are nicer.

My favorite Chanel store ♥️ I’ve been all Chanel stores in NYC and this one I always tell to my friends and family is the best. All staff are always friendly, helpful, professional you can get what you want here coz many of them you never see on the website. Thank you so much Sherry, Donnie and Elvina. Love you all ♥️♥️♥️ A long line outside everyday proves what I say about this Chanel New York city Soho.

I've been to the other Chanel locations in NY but this location TOPS them all. The staff was welcoming and so was the store manager Akta. They assisted me with my purchases and answered all my questions.

The manager here Tracy Morgan is not willing To help you, she speaks to you with so much attitude and is very disrespectful and even hangs up on you, not there to help at all! She made my experience at this Chanel a horror I’ll never be coming to this store again! Learn how to speak to clients especially when they are in need of help!!!! Smh.

I wasn’t expecting a line outside the door, we waited for a good 20 min. I came in the store with a double stroller full of toys and a sleeping baby which was a true blessing. I wanted to try some rings, I was well served and got what I wanted.

Went to get sunglasses tightened. Did it quite quickly but the lady did not bother to clean her fingerprints off the lenses. I would consider that below average service for a brand like Chanel!!

I visited soho boutique to purchase a wallet that I wanted.When I arrived at the store, the employee informed me that the wallet was not at the store, but rather in the company warehouse. If I wanted to buy it, he said he could ship it to my house by remote purchase, so I agreed. (I had no idea what a remote purchase was. It's not like paying a wallet in the store and having it shipped to my house.He asked if I have an account. I gave him my name, email and phone number because there was a previous purchase history. However, he said that I did not have an account.I purchased the bag in that store because it was a gift for my anniversary. So I requested him to check for my account again, and he told me to give him the color of the bag I purchased as well as the color of the bag's hardware.I recall the color of the bag, but not the color of the hardware. I stated I couldn't remember, and I suggested silver, but the system said gold. (Because I don't use that bag on a daily basis, I was confused.He said that this was not my account since I gave an wrong answer. But I was sure that account belonged to me. but he said he couldn't help me since I said silver. So I asked him about other options.He said I could open an account today if I bought anything from the store. Then I'll be able to purchase the purse in 2-3 days because the system needs time to form the new account.I thought that was unfair, but since I answered incorrectly, I purchased the lip tint.He said that there were just two purses left in the US. I didn't want to wait 3 days to order the purse. So I told him that when I got home, I'd take a picture of my bag and send it to him.He replied okay, then after 5 seconds, he asked, "Take a picture of the bag with your face." I felt really uncomfortable and insulted. But I didn't want to make a scene. So I went home, took a picture, and sent it, but it was quite offensive.I sent a text message two times after sending the photo, but there was no response. A few minutes later, I got a text.He said he requested an order, and i will receive an email requesting payment details.I requested him to merge my accounts so that I could use my phone # and email address the next time. He said that he already had. So I thanked him and ended the chat.I've never had this experience at a boutique in Paris or Asia.I called CS, and they confirmed that this had never happened before, and the manager called me on Wednesday to apologize and say she would speak with him.But It still makes me feel uncomfortable and disrespected.

WORST customer service ever!!!! People who work here are rude and disrespectful. The SA i was assigned to, not only she is unhelpful but also she has disgusting attitude, she never tried to help, made me wanna avoid dealing with her, maybe that was her intention. Other SA are not much better. The only good one is the asian lady, she was able to find me what i was looking for. In general, the vibe there was so bad and unwelcoming. It used to be much better before pandemic. Don’t come here, they wouldn’t want you to be there anyway.

Doorman was polite. Sadly cannot say the same with the SA I was assigned. She couldn't have been more snobby, and unhelpful. Luckily, we went to the Chanel at BG, and were able to get better service.

We bought multiple things, a flap bag and earrings. We were visibly carrying multiple heavy shopping bags - did not offer us a seat anywhere nor a spot to safely leave our bags. Although they only let a couple of people in at a time and we waited for around 15 minutes before we made it into the actual store, we were not immediately appointed an SA, and left to wander for about 10 minutes even after we requested one. I understand everyone has bad days but our SA Bernardo really paid no attention to us and when we wanted to try something on, he was literally on the other side of the store on his phone. I do get there are hard circumstances and I hardly leave bad reviews, but even though the items they offered in the store we really liked, we didn’t feel welcomed nor appreciated after our purchases.
