We had a super nice experience opening an account at this location. Wonderful help by a personal banker, which was a huge contrast to our experience with Citibank just a few blocks away.

Thursday afternoon around 3:30pm, it wasn't crowded at all. There's 6ATM machine by the entrances and 2 tellers were opened. everything went smoothly. Poland Spring Water was setting up. I didn't see the Envelopes, so if you need it, you have to Ask One of the Tellers. It's only one Block from W4St Station/MFACE subway. Located on 6th ave.

Steer clear of this branch unless you're using the ATM. The hours are inaccurate online and there is a very angry middle aged black woman that seemed to be a manager shouting at customers waiting in line to make transactions. She went out of her way to be rude and unhelpful. That woman should not be facing customers; she's awful. Went to the Varick St branch instead and couldn't have been treated better. Chase needs to some secret shopping at their W 4th branch stat.

Welcome to hell! A lovely Asian was helping me, she had a question and asked her colleague sitting next to her, who wasn't helping an customers, and the black female colleague SCREAMED at her saying, "YOU KNOW HOW TO DO THAT!" Then the Asian teller said I would need to see a bank associate. I walked over to the two men there. The black male said he wasn't ready (at 9:18am) for customers. The Asian male said he had a 9am (at 9:19am) mtg. I then stood in between the two male bank Associate cubicles and asked if I could make an appointment to see either of them today. The Asain male looked at his calender and said he was booked the rest of the day. So I asked the blackale associate for his availability. He continued to do something under his desk, never checking his computer, and said, "I'm booked till Wed." Go to the Chase on University Place, which a few blocks away. People there are respectful and know what they're doing.

OMG, I had the worst customer support and experienced a lack of professional attitude with the shadiest misogynist man who was working there. I tried to withdraw money that indeed was taken out of my account and the atm made a noise and didn't give me my money and then said some BS error that I needed to contact my bank. This money $350 was withdrawn from my international card and was going to deposit it to my chase bank account. I obviously asked for help , assuming they would have a professional attitude and the guy in his late 30s, early 40s with a beard, bald, around 5'10 told me I did not know what I was talking about because I am a woman who gets paranoid and does not understand how ATMs work. Excuse me ? Misogynist and racist much ?? He did not want to give me my money back and said what I was saying was not relevant. I asked one of the guys behind the desk and he said I was right and probably my money got stuck in there and was a technical issue, I saw how aggressively the other man came up to him and started telling him a bunch of things in the back because he probably knew I was right and that the other kind person was trying to understand this shady issue. This happened exactly in this location and the guy seems to be very unhappy with his job and not comfortable or prepared to solve things, he should not be working there. He pretty much said I was making things up because I am a woman and do not know how the world works.

I had a scary experience at this bank and the manager helped out. I was a depositing significant (to me) amount of cash and the ATM started sputtering, and spit out a receipt without the deposit. I went into the branch terrified and angry, while I was speaking with the teller the manager, Shana Volma, came out and brought me to her cubicle and called the necessary number and people. She was very calm and professional, i wasn't as appreciative as I should have been at the time. She assured me that it would be ok and it was. Thank you.

Horrible, nobody works at this branch. They change closing time from 6 to 5 pm. Lazy workers.

Chase lends more money to fossil fuel companies than any other bank in the world. Let's take our money out of Chase!#stopthemoneypipline

Grossly understaffed. They have one teller open at 4pm on a Thursday. And two more visible employees behind the glass doing very little. They can see the line but they don't seem to be doing anything.

Had a similar issue - deposited a $2500 check in the ATM and everything seemed to be fine. The next day the money was taken out of my account due to the check being "improperly endorsed" (I've deposited many checks via ATM and not once has this happened). Chase said they'd resend a copy of the check to my door. A week went by and the check never arrived - it was either lost, stolen or damaged. Went in again (to a different branch) and they had to resend another copy, which will arrive in 1-5 business days. Two weeks have passed and Chase has been less than helpful resolving this problem. The staff at this branch are extremely unhelpful and do not know how to do their jobs. I have had other issues with them as well, but this is the cherry on top of why this branch is awful. Do not go to this branch.

DO NOT deposit money in the ATM inside the branch. I made a $2,600 deposit and all of a sudden the money magically disappeared. I made both chase investigations (reg. Investigation and chase world wide investigator). The camera inside the branch clearly shows me inside the branch depositing the money but according to them there's no money inside the ATM. Chase will not reimburse me my money because the error receipt I receive doesn't show an amount.
