It's generally an absolute zoo of tourists here, especially during days and weekends, but then a great place to get dinner on a Monday or Tuesday night when it's more quiet with so many options.

Nice atmosphere with old industrial chic along the long path, which is lined with lots of food on the right and left. From a culinary point of view, a visit to the Chelsea Market is like a trip around the world. Unfortunately, there are not enough other shops so that visitors can discover more and stay longer. The renovation of the old building itself was successful.

Besides being part of the Kusina Ni inang family, I can also say that we have been long time consumers as well. Every dish we’ve tried has somehow been better than last.It makes my heart happy when I see the sea of colors as folks come trough the door because it means that Kusina is one by one showcasing Filipino food and allowing their broad customer base to taste them one by one

It's beautiful but it lacks gluten free options to eat there. Yes, there is a store for items imported from Italy but they must be cooked at home.

Strongly overrated, overcrowded and overpriced. Go outside instead and just over the other side of the street is Little Island, which is a super cozy place.

Fun place to walk through and shop/eat but you better come hungry!! Great coffee shops, bakeries, taco/mexican food, pasta, etc. We enjoyed walking through the markets and local artisan stores as well.

You just have to have been there. If you like lobster, you should definitely go to Lobster Place and eat lobster. We ordered a large one there with I think 2 pounds for $79, with all the trimmings and drinks we came to $120. But those are NY prices. And the money was definitely worth it. You then get a tablet with the lobster on it, lemon, melted butter, cutlery, the lobster is already on and an apron. You can also take gloves, which I would strongly recommend. The experience itself is simply amazing and then the tender meat of the lobster. Class

A must see if you visit New York. You can eat great food there (especially sushi, mussels & oysters or lobster), buy souvenirs or just take a leisurely look. Then walk back to the city on the Highline...greatllll.

Too crowded and chaotic, a purely tourist destination.

Very cool market with various restaurants and shops, including an artist flea market. A must go. Too many things to list including a Michelin star restaurant.
