“What a treat it was to stumble upon the Church of Sweden and its basement cafe and gift shop. It was fun to shop among all the great Swedish products and enjoy some saffron buns and Glogg. The staff were wonderfully helpful in selecting just the right gifts and food. We will return again some day to see the church that was under renovation during our visit in Nov 2023. We suggest some bigger/better signage, as it was a stroke of luck that we noticed the Swedish flag and turned down the street to see why it was there.”
“I went to St. Cecila's church, to stay for a mass service in honor of Ash Wednesday.A lot has changed inside over the years, but whenever I'm around 106th between Lexington and Park, I like to stop in and catch a service.”

“First time I came there for Friday Evening Service. The place is so beautiful and the community are so warm and accepting. Before the prayer they asked if anyone wants to say their name and when they’re coming from. So I said Hi My Name is Izzy and I’m from Israel. The Rabbi said Welcome Home. I felt home right away. I love this people. I love the community. I’ll come there many more times when I come to New York. Highly recommended! ❤️”
