This lousy bank is holding this senior citizens savings account money hostage. They won't tell me why other than it's under review by the fraud dept. The fraud dept tells me I need a reference number before they will talk to me. I haven't received this number and they keep telling me to wait for it. I have answered every security question they have thrown at me but it doesn't matter. I've lived in the same home with the same phone number so that's not the issue. Stay away from this bank.

I submtted a "dispute charge " on my CITI THANK YOU PREFERRED CARD and they graciously agreed with the vendor without consulting my side of the dispute. I paid the vendor and locked my card and will use my other cards.NP Frank Fitz

CITIBANK STOLE MONEY AND REFUSES TO PAY IT BACKThese idiots didn't allow me to add my middle name when I opened an account online so they REFUSED to accept my LEGAL W9 Federal Tax form that CORRECTLY had my middle name and it took 2 years for them to correct my account and stop taking Federal Taxes out and now they REFUSE to pay back my lost compound interest from them ILLEGALLY TAKING OUT FEDERAL TAXES.It's been a NIGHTMARE dealing with them!! I can't count how many times they've hung up on me and have been ABSOLUTELY RUDE, gas lighting, belittling, and they just keep blowing me off!!I reported all of this to every government agency possible and NONE of them did ANYTHING!!! So it appears that Citibank is going to get away with screwing me out of lost compound interest for 2 years!!!

Wow this bank is horrible! I bought a house with citi mortgage and their banking services are awful, they make it unnecessary hard to do things you need to call multiple times to make changes in your account to wait 2 days for things to update in their system. Don't make my mistake go to a different bank, any other if you can!

Fell for their advertising and got a Citibank credit card. We always pay in full by electronic checking each month. Despite sending the payment a week before due we were charged late fees each month. The first month they waived the fees but after that they said the courtesy was once only. Citi is the ONLY place that our payments are late. Cards are now in the trash!

Scambags! Opened my account a few months ago. CITIGOLD!!!! Started depositing and making business. They froze my account because they say I changed my phone number and it raised flags(??????). Now she's refusing to give me my money back and holding it for 30 days! They are playing with my 6 figure money - they stole it from me! Elsa Ortega and Veronica Vitelli - two reps and managers at this location! Beware! They will decide one day to hold your money and not give it back to you for 30 days! Mafia! Where is the government to protect us families, small people and small entrepreneurs!!!

Citibank is the worst bank I ever dealt with. The never offer intro rates or other perks nearly as good as the other major banks, they bombard you with constant unwanted mailings, their customer service by phone is awful, and they engage in shady practices. For example, they sent me a mailer that enticed me to open a checking account, keep the money in there for a specified time, saying I would receive a 400 dollar reward after the time was up. . I did so, waited twice as long as they specified, but still no reward. Several calls to them have been unable to rectify it. They seem to admit they owe me the money, but they just say they have to "do an investigation" first. That was a week or more ago. I still don't have the money they promised. They are just an horrible bank. Use anyone else.

Wanted to pay my credit card bill. Sorry this bank does not accept American cash dollars for bill payments. Willing to sell money order for $5.00 and will accept money order for credit card bill payment. SCUMBAGS.

I was given misinformation of a bonus reward in cash and an increase cash back on my Citicard from a rep in the 72nd St branch. I opened and funded the account, but will only be getting a partial cash bonus and no increase on my credit card, due to reps mistakes.I asked to speak with her manager, but he didn't call back and she refused to give me his contact information. To my detriment this bank does not oversee reps mistakes, and the customer deals with the loss.

This is a good, fairly new branch. It is set up well, with an information desk at the front, and generally helpful tellers and bank machines. The officers in the back are also knowledgeable. Sometimes the lines can get long, however.

A few weeks ago I was purchasing flights through American Airlines (aa.com) Upon purchasing I noticed an offer for a credit card that provided a statement credit. (AAdvantage) I signed up for the offer and used the card immediately to purchase flights. I could have used several other cards I have with really good rewards, but I did not due to this offer. When I received my first bill in the mail, I noticed I did not receive the advertised credit, which was the reason I signed up. I called in to customer service, thinking they could easily help me, but apparently there was two cards accidentally created, at the time of sign-up with the second card actually being used for the flights, and also the one I received in the mail. I had to be escalated to a manager who said there was nothing they could do because there was two accounts created, and my offer was stuck on the "first account", which was never used. I explained that I only used one of the cards to buy the flights ($800+) and I just wanted the duplicate card closed and my statement credit fixed. They repeatedly told me that because there were two cards created, I am out of luck, and there's nothing they could do for me. I explained over and over that the multiple accounts being created was an accidental circumstance that I never wanted to happen. All they had to do was hear me out, realize that two cards were created in error, and hook me up with the credit as advertised. So, I cancelled both cards and I am avoiding doing business with either Citi or American Airlines ever again. This was a blatant slap in the face which should have been the beginning of a new customer-business relationship. I had planned to use this card generously. This was one of the most illogical and ridiculous things I have ever experienced, and a terrible way to start a new relationship with a customer. From a managerial standpoint, my mind is completely blown. None of this makes any sense, that they would let someone who spends over $10,000 on credit cards per month due to a self-owned business completely walk away, so unhappy. CITI DOES NOT CARE. The employee who denied me is named Arnel and his work code is "NINJ61"

I continue going to this branch more than any other Citibank - and since the tellers have been uniformly friendly & helpful, I'm upgrading my rating back to five stars.
