Incompetent staff. Worst service ever received. Too much Citibank branches in close proximity to this location to ever have to go to this one ever again. They had two teller windows open. With a line to the back of the branch. The incompetent teller kept taking accounts holder although she was not equipped to assist. Cause of more pile up on the one functioning teller window. No other solution provided other than waiting and obscene amount of time for very simple bank transactions. Disgusted with this staff

The bankers at CITI Koreatown branch are polite, efficient and cordial. Most importantly they are fluent in Korean as well as English; fulfilling integral role of assisting non-native Korean speakers such as my elderly parents as well as native speakers as myself with professionalism and politeness. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our AWESOME relationship manager Mr. Joe 경남 Kang and amazing branch manager Ms. Gina for their exceptional services and dedication for keeping a good balance of diversity and especially gender inequality issues in check that can often back fire within Korean communities in result leaving with sour notes that aren’t constructive and unnecessary stressors in life.Many thanks to dedicated branch bankers and friendly tellers who have been most amazing (you know who you are) deserve many kudos and praises for their client-oriented services and for professional advices they offer each visit. You are appreciated. Highly recommend!P.S. thanks for recommending Mindset by Dweck and being awesome ?

Very friendly staff. I never see a line what people waiting so the tellers are very efficient in my opinion. There is a notary on site is very helpful.

If I can give a big a fat ZERO - this branch deserves it. I'm sure the customer that left with me, feels the same. The inefficiency in their operations is mind blowing stupid. Unfortunately, all their ATM don't carry $50 bills, so I am forced to use the "human" teller. I need it for a birthday thing. There was only 1 teller opened and 1 customer with the teller. How long can the wait be? So I waited... and waited... a good 5 mins passed... another customer lined up behind me. And we waited.... Another 10 mins... 15 mins...So, whatever is happening seems difficult and challenging for the teller. The customer might be closing her account... or something that requires extra time. Complicated enough that required 2 additional staff to help him figure out "how to process" whatever is needed. They see us, the customers waiting. They avoided all eye contact. At ALL COST. lol That's a hint letting us know - "can't bother with you... bc we don't know what the f*ck we're doing right now" and "No, we're not going to open up another teller window bc we don't do EFFICIENCY here". So what else can a customer do? We leave and go to another bank... YES folks, this is WHY you don't put all your eggs in one Citibank basket! I've been banking at this location for a little over a year... never pleasant. I sometimes would walk to the 38th & 5th Ave branch.. because the staff are kinder and more willing to help. I left shortly after the other customer... I went to Chase Bank, which is also around the corner. Bank smart my fellow Yelpers. #chasebank#betterforyourhealth #citibanksucks

I need to wire some money by end of the day. I tried 4 BoA branches nearby and they were full or had system down to send notifications. I have a backup account with Citi and the staff here does work quietly and quick!!! The Korean staff lady asked my requests, focused on get the work done, and that’s it!! Efficient and works like a charm. I’m switching from boa to citi.

Citi bank should give this guy a raise immediately and maybe use him to train other employees. If anyone wants a personal bank teller please ask for Sean Kang if you want good service. Just giving my personal opinion. Citi was about to lose a high priority customer. This guy saved the day.

I wanted to exchange One hundred dollar bills to 20, 10, and 5 dollar bills. I work for a hair salon which is located near this branch. Bankers are kind but the manager makes me embarrassed. I have used Citi bank for 8years, and no one told me they don't exchange cash to cash. Even when I opened the account, there is no information that they don't exchange money for the customers. The manager kept saying that do not to exchange cash for cash more than five times to the banker in front of me. I felt sorry to the banker. Other banker explained to me and I understood what they said. However The manger asked them ”does she couldn't speak in English?”?? What the...They need a business account because I wanted to exchange it for the business. however I prefer to go there because of my convenience. And her attitude was Not right. If she wants to say something, she had to mention After the customer leaves. Also do not say that if the customer could not speak in English in front of them. This is the fundamental customer care.

I went to this location a week ago around 6:00 am and went I open the front door ,l saw a homeless men sleeping were the ATM are,l dint use the ATM due to that l dint feel safe ,I went back today same time and a homeless couple were sleeping in the floor,l can’t use the ATM again,you need a security in that Branch,is ridiculous that l can’t get the cash that l need,if you don’t take care this issue l will close my account,you have camera and know that homeless people sleep there and don’t doing anything,you deserve 0 star.

Poor poor service i had an appointment and no one is there to take me after 25 minutes some stupid girl came to me and asked me who you have appointment with when I said it's too late i have school i need to leave she said ok like nothing happened!!! seriously i felt like we are in a third world country !!!

Just wanted to warn people that this citibank atm machines steal people's money. I had an extremely horrible experience with the customer service here. After i inserted cash to deposit the atm machine spited out the receipt saying 'for technical problem, i cannot take or return the cash' so i called the citi bank immediately and was told that they were going to investigate the case and credit the missing cash accordingly. Next thing i know, ive got a letter saying that they couldn't honor my request and they do not routinely use security camera during their investigation. How does this make any sense? If the security footage is not being used to perform investigating customer's missing money because of their atm machine technical issue?! I went to the branch to get help, but the branch manager and agent name 'Andrew Ahn' said if this was really happened, there should be cash over in their atm machine, but since there's no money over i am basically asking for money that does not exist. Then they kept accusing me i am lying or mistaking for wrong branch... However they refuse to show security camera footage saying it is not under their authority which is an obvious lie because indeed, bank can control the security cameras. Be aware of bank scams like this one people. Police won't be any help either because they say this is 'civil matter' not 'criminal matter' despite the fact it's still a rubbery only difference is the atm machine does not use a weapon to steal your money.
