Def. the worst customer service. I called to add a member of my family to my checking account. The operator messed up the spelling of the name and address. It took close to 20 minutes and then another 15 on the phone with the rep. Three weeks later I called back to have their mistake correct. I waited another 25 minutes to get a person who did not speak or understand English well enough to make the change. After spending 10 minutes going in circles with her I finally asked to speak to a supervisor. Waiting another 10 minutes the supervisor finally got on the phone. Before trying to explain the problem again, I was asked once again for the third time to verify my name address, after supplying it they flagged my account. The rep apparently flagged it b/c I asked to speak to a supervisor. Then I had to wait another half hour for them to clear it up.

Really bad customer service. Branch manager showed lack of understanding for customer who has multiple personal and business Relationships for over 2 decades with the bank in multiple countries. Washed his hands off. Wrong attitude. The bank just lost a customer who has been with them since 1989.

I asked about the Citigold Lounge but turned out it was only a waiting room area to meet with the financial advisors.

Complaint about:1. Manager - Julissa E. Maldonado2. Teller - Le NguyenAbsolutely incompetent staff and the rudest I've ever encountered at any bank. My family and I will never open an account at ANY Citibank ever again. My mother went in with my brother to close an account and we received a check for it. They were in a rush so they left quickly but noticed later in the day that the teller misspelled the name on the check. Mistakes happen, but of course we were disappointed especially given the large balance and gold status on the account. This mistake meant we would be unable to deposit the check at a different bank and this cost us, since the money was required for a time-sensitive transaction.Upon returning to this branch to receive a revised check, to highlight this issue, and to voice our disappointment, my mother was shocked to hear the manager, JULISSA E. MALDONADO, accuse my mother of the typo being HER mistake... How does this make sense?? In addition to not admitting it was their mistake, they claimed it was my brother's name that was a mistake. How can you tell me my brother's given name from birth isn't right? Is it because it isn't a western name? A manager's attitude influences and reflects the values of their employees, and this manager at Citibank has no humility or shame. The staff then proceeded to treat my mother and brother (who has a mental disability) rudely, tossing them around and disregarding any level of professional customer service. If this is how they train their employees, then I would not feel safe with them handling my hard earned money. Upon leaving the branch, the manager and teller, LE NGUYEN, had the audacity to tell my mother she was the one being rude. This teller was extremely, extremely unprofessional and rude - clearly Citibank doesn't care about their employees treatment of customers.I strongly advise avoiding this branch at all costs, and if anyone needs to open an account - you would be much better off opening it at a Bank of America or Chase Bank where they actually value their clients.

I usually am lazy to log in to write a review. However, I was impressed by the people at this branch taking care of customers. I went to this branch to get a notary service. A security (I didn't get a chance to ask her name though) greeted with a beautiful smile and was very attentive. She brought me to the right person immediately. Jenela, the notary public who helped me was super nice, helpful, friendly, and gave me what I needed right away. My visit took only 2 minutes. I highly recommend this location.
