Good staff but they NEVER answer phone even after ten calls. Some people don’t have ability to make it there for their 9-5 hours and the talking to someone, not a generic customer service rep in another state, is important.

Super convenient. Easy access to two bus lines. HOWEVER, sometimes unwanted visitors are there loitering seeking shelter. Makes the situation a little wary considering money is involved.

despite some delays regarding my account opening and the fact that it took way longer than expected I almost went to another bank, however libeth was so nice and helpful. She took all the time to answer all my questions and was kind and treated me the way every customer wants to be treated in and I think it wasn't for her help I would have seriously easily went to any other bank and opened my account within an hour.

Lol I didn't think a bank institution could eff up a deposit counted by a money machine. But lo and behold the next day i was "missing" $950 although my original deposit slip had the expected amount. Crazy how their professional explanations come up to "uhhhh we don't know". Every teller I have encountered here had only 3 brain cells. One for standing upright and looking human, 2 for counting down time until lunch break, and 3rd brain cell I've noticed to stall you as long as they can so they don't have to see other customers.

Worst customer service ever. I called the branch that I bank at. They passed the buck on me once I finally got this person on the line, transferring me to another number, to reach online technical support. There is NO OPTION for technical support on the automated recording. Furthermore, it just goes around in circles, no matter what option you press. I have waisted over an hour and a half already trying to reach online technical support. And, this is all because of a glitch in their system that I am calling.

DO NOT USE CITIBANK IF YOU CAN HELP IT AND WANT TO AVOID GETTING ILL FROM THEIR AWFUL AUTOMATED PHONES!!!I opened a checking account. They gave me a debit card though I told them I don't use them. So okay, I requested a credit card. They declined (I never was declined before). At the time I didn't ask why since I have a couple of other good credit cards. But now I learned that (1) I have the right to know why they declined, and (2) I have the right to know which instrument they used, i.e. hard pull, soft pull, or ChexSystems. To get these answers I called them and this took me through awfully long UNPRODUCTIVE HOURS NOT MINUTES on the phone! They've got the automation so complete it's almost impossible to talk to a person (don't offer to call back without losing your turn). Finally a person answers and after all the usual 3rd degree he says he doesn't know so he transfers me...somewhere. Again another wait and my explaining... AND THEN another transfer!!! And even a THIRD transfer! Here it offered to leave a message. I thought oh good! but...the recording said "the person you're trying to reach is not available. Call again later." And hung up! Can you imagine??? I called Citibank for the last time and the person I reached listened to my fury and said "I'm so sorry, please use this number", and gave me the very same number that I had used in the first place!!! Hours passed by so by then I just sent everything to hell and will have to take my time and bother to go in person.Citibank is one of the very worst among old banks. Of course, I'll get out of there just as soon as I open another bank account. But I just HAD to take this out of my check. Thank you Yelp. :)P.S. I feel sorry for the next generations which will not be able to talk to persons - period! If anybody saw the Charlie Chaplin's "Modern times" film...you'll see what kind of society they will find.

When a bank can't even count money correctly, communicate bank policy to its customers or follow the ACTUAL law of New York, you know you have problems. I had such high hopes for this place...sadly that faith was misspent. I was lied to by several people who work at this branch, including the branch manager who has the collective intelligence (and customer service skills) of an employee of a foreign call center. Do yourself a favor...go across the street to TD Bank!

Worst Citibank branch ever. When I called them the lady on the phone hang up on me twice! First time she left me waiting for 10 minutes on the line and then just hang up! Second time immediately after I called, she hang up.
