The absolutely most ridiculous bank ive ever walked into.I needed to get coins from a 20dollar bill. The (carribean woman) teller rudely refuses me repeating she can only assist members. I have to wait over 30mins for my partner who is a member to come. They come and the lady STILL refuses to give change. They showed id and a bank card.I call the manager (hispanic man) over. He took ATLEAST 10 min to get off a call while watching this situation esculate. He immediately discredits me, dismisses me and assists the very RUDE teller who refused to assist their own customer. The entire situation took an unnecessary 45min+. I was almost ticketed waiting for the teller to give me the money in coins that I had already given to her in cash. She literally held the coins in her hand and refused to give my money back.I was late to a very important business meeting, put hours be financially inconvienced, and disrespected. The other staff is pretty solid but this bank will not cost me twice.I will NOT be opening a business account at that location or this bank.Stop hiring just anybody to work!

Should have read the reviews before entered this branch, also wondered why it was EMPTY, now I see! They are Rude!!! This place is not for tourists, which I think 90% of 6th ave. They only help to people who have account with them!! My Advice is, get out of 6th ave and move, maibe then it will have some customers

I came in today to deposit cash and there was only 1 person working, and a line of 9 people! I would walk to the 42nd street location if possible

Back in February 2022, i closed an account and used the funds to close a personal loan since i moved out of state. By a miracle, Citibank paid partially my personal loan, bouncing back part of the funds that was meant to pay the loan, into the already closed account, leaving both, the loan and the account open, never sent a confirmation letter, even though i requested it through a letter sent. Because they never closed the loan, after THEIR mishaps, they have the odacity to send me to a collection agency, ruin my credit and try to make me pay late payments fee. Drove 4 hours to the branch in 6th Ave, sat there for 4.5 hours trying to come to a happy ending, was told to go to the collection agency. Soooo NOT customer obsessed as their logo claim to be

Be careful.. this branch has bad teller machine.. I tried to deposit cash and the teller machine broke.. very unreliable.. never had this kind of problem before. I will never go back to this branch. They said they will count the money and give me a call back which they never did. Although I told them how much cash I deposited. Sometime I might be wrong and have maybe more cash . To leave the bank to them saying will let you know, felt very unease.

Stopped by on a Wednesday around 4:30pm. It wasn’t busy, but they were closing soon. A personal banker, Charlie (Charles) H., went above and beyond to help me with my admittedly odd request. He is a total superstar with amazing patience. He was also prompt with follow-up. Thank you so much!

I called this branch on Friday 10/30/20. I spoke with a Brent who assured me that they will have 40K for me.I call again on Monday to confirm and they say I’m all good, just come in.I get there and the teller Alyea of Leah denies me the cash because the funds are pending. But the worse part is the women speak like I’m not in front of her, saying I could “go to another branch” to her coworker. Same women walking around the branch with Reebok’s.I wish someone in corporate will read this take action.

I just went here to order new business checks. The account rep was bored out of her mind and never bothered to say anything to me. I told her I needed the exact same information on the new checks as I had on the old checks, and then handed her the page of examples from my old checkbook. She not only missed half of the information but put the number of the address on one line and the street name on another. When I asked about a receipt, she scribbled my order number on a blue Post-It note and handed that to me. I do not have high hopes that the mailing address used is correct, though I gave her my business card to copy it from. Citibank, you want more of my business. No. This is why.

People here area good and kind but.. A rotten apple spoils the barrel. One of tellers should know what the small business needs in banking.

Horrible service. Completely useless. I waited there for 1:30 min to get a "NO" as an answer when they could simpmly tell me that in the first few minutes. If possible avoid city at any cost. Their bureaucratic system is ridiculous, save yourself some headaches.

Long lines. Only 2 tellers. Waste of a day

Their service is too slow. They have 5 windows and only 2 of them are available most of the time. They are nice and friendly but don't look trying to hurry. It took me 40 min just to deposit one check today.

The personnel at this bank are *terrific*! I went there today just to transact routine business, and the teller - Jennifer - was *incredibly* friendly. A really nice thing is that she noticed how the intense heat & humidity had affected me, so she went and got me some water. The teller next to her was also very friendly. Meanwhile; when I'd first arrived, there were several people in line and I decided to sit & wait until (hopefully) the line was shorter (I'm still recovering from surgery for a broken hip and I was in a lot of pain after walking quite a distance). A very nice woman named Ashley approached me, thinking that the reason why I was sitting was in order to see a banker (and btw, there were several chairs & they were comfortable) - but when I explained about my situation, she immediately offered to stand in line for me until she was at the point of being first in line. That was incredibly thoughtful of her, and it was another example of the terrific people working there (and as an aside, the line moved *really* quickly; much faster than at almost any bank branch I've ever been to). Lastly, I complimented the manager before leaving and she was quite kindhearted. Very impressive all-around!

I had my first experience with Citibank and the woman that helped me was beyond helpful and also extremely kind! As a previous employee in the customer service field I want to commend this branch for their welcoming atmosphere and the woman that helped me for being so wonderful. I believe her name was Deepta but I can not remember for sure. I look forward to opening an account with Citi in the future!
