Everything is just exceptional organized. Staff is extremely helpful and you won't be standing long on line.

I've been going to Costco for ages! But the one in Manhattan, NY has some special people working there! They make your experience so uncomfortable from beginning to end! Starting with their attitude talking to you like you're a two year old... I even saw a Spanish guy talk to me with an attitude like he was a police officer giving me orders when I was asking him a question I almost reported him. If it wasn't because I live close I'd still go to the one in New Rochelle, NY

I usually love Costco but had a recent really bad experience with a supervisor with long braids that works there! She was so nasty and rude it turned me off. As a manager she should know better about customer service. After shopping for an hour and a half my cart was full and she withheld my stuff from me when I tried to pay so I can verify my account with my own membership card. I had my moms on me. I was able to print it out and when I went back for my stuff they were all gone. After she said it would be there and not be taken. WHY then did she not let me hold onto my OWN cart while I went to get my card?! All my stuff was gone and I had to try to remember what I had while my screaming tired toddler wanted to leave already and I was holding him. She had no curtesy or consideration of that. Is she even a mother? who knows!! Such a bad experience.. then she left for lunch and laughed at me like she didn't care.

The lines were horrific today. There was an old man who cut the line and when I mentioned it, he had a whole bunch of people screaming at me. Manager came over and walked the whole group to the front, while leaving me to wait for 1/2 an hour.

Costco is still a very favorite grocery warehouse for my family. I now call my daughter the Costco Kid! If she didn't help me in my old age I'd never be able to get all my favorite foods home. I'm a huge fan of the Kirkland brand products. I can't live without the nuts that are in huge bags for a reasonable price. I can't live with out the Peanut Butter that is organic and delicious. It has gone up in price but worth it for the size jar. The Almond Butter is a good deal for sure and is also good. I use self check out and get out of the store quickly. The place is huge.... Five Stars definitely!!

I always give 5 stars for this place. I haven't been to a few places since the Pandemic I'm realizing. I was glad to be there to see everything they have But I didn't plan to spend the day in there. So I had a list and I stuck to it. I like Costco for its variety of everything they have. People are standing near the registers to help you. Quick and easy exit

Great COSTCO. Not as crowded as others I've been. Love the fresh fish! Great optical department; opticians very knowledgeable and most helpful! Skilled cashiers who keep the line moving!

When I first started shopping at Costco it used to be a pleasant place to shop for all my home needs. Now Costco has become the place where I have to pray, stay calm, and wait to see what unpleasant inconvenient attitude from workers will occur. Today I waited over 5 minutes to get a 'day pass,' which is normal at Costco from my experience. When it became my turn, I was being helped by a women named Melody. She asked me how could she be of service, and I told her I needed a day pass. I gave her my ID and Melody continued to assist me. Another Costco worker came over to speak with Melody and that's when I had to wait longer for my pass. Melody never excused herself. After her 2 minute conversation with the other worker, she looked at me, pointed her finger and said, "the pass is coming." After handing the pass over, I said, "Thank you," and walked away. The experience was unpleasant because the workers sometimes barely look in your eyes when they are speaking with members. The feeling of Costco feels like a warehouse of drones. Lots workers no longer smile. I hope workers are being treated fairly on all levels because the morale of this warehouse is down.

I'm a new Costco member (got a Groupon for $40 that included 1 year membership, $40 voucher for online and $40 voucher for in store). I was supposed to get the vouchers by email within 2 weeks of joining but nothing ever arrived I contacted Costco customer service after waiting a few weeks and they helped me immediately and the vouchers arrived later that day. I've only been three times so far, and heard that this location is NUTS, but each time I've gone early afternoon on a weekday and the crowds have been fine and was only waiting in line to checkout for maybe 10mins. The only negative I have is that I'm in Inwood and this location makes transit a little tricky. First time I grabbed a car from one of the guys waiting outside. It was pretty cheap to drive uptown (only $12 but I tipped more) but going up Harlem river drive took sooo long. Second trip I tried biking home, which was fine except obviously only limited to what you can carry in your backpack. Third time I took metro north from 125th to Marble Hill station which was okay but again limited by what you can carry. Just wish this location was closer to the subway, then it would be perfect for people like me that don't have a car, or I could figure out a better way of getting home (any tips or suggestions appreciated!)

Careful with Buying Meat Went to Costco on Friday the 12th. Never really had a problem with anything but this time I had to post. Purchased a package of Australian Lamb shoulder chops. Almost $24 for 4 chops. Expiration date was the 19th. Today, on Saturday the 13th, I decided to open the package and divide up the chops. Upon slicing open one side, the odor of spoiled meat just wafted from the package. The spoiled meat smell got stronger as I completely peeled off the plastic. I couldn't believe it. The meat looked totally fresh and red. Is Costco fooling around with the expiration dates?? First time it happened. My husband immediately returned the meat and when he came back he said the spoiled smell was in the car. Also you know what? The Customer Service Rep couldn't care less. No apology, nothing. Refunded the money. I wish I had photos but I didn't decide to write a review at the time. So what does Costco do with returned meat??

My family and I usually visit this location on sundays. The only downside I have is parking cost $6 for 2 hours. And after that it goes up to 10 or 12 dollars. (Past the 2 hours) They have an amazing selection of snacks, poultry, and house hold items for a great deal. Everything is well organized. The check out is crazy.... Lines forms everywhere and can be overwhelming.

Great selection, especially of Kirkland brand liquors and wines. The lines also moved fairly fast and the staff were very Pleseant.

I think this would be a place you would come once a month to stock up on households supplies as everyone knows you can get items in bulk here at wholesale prices. Because of this, you can expect people in the Harlem area to flock over here to get their hands on these deals. Unfortunately, despite the convenient parking next to the store, parking costs money. Traffic is ridiculous so getting out takes forever. On top of all of this, dealing with a typical Costco customer is also a headache as they will block aisles with no regards to their surroundings. You say "excuse me", they give you the dirtiest look as if you're the one inconveniencing them. Just some of the many things you'll have to put up with to get your hands on those wholesale deals.

So I came here to buy lamb rack worth of $2000. As can be seen from the picture, there are a lot of lamb racks and I wanted a box to carry it. They had to talk with 3 managers and it was such a bad experience. Worst Costco ever. How can you not value a customer with a big purchase like that? Such a shame.

Don't use the parking machine to pay for parking. The machines are hacked at the E. 116th Street location. My debit card was hacked for $1.094.00 I know that Costco doesn't own the machines, but they need to be aware. I will NEVER visit that location again.
