This Costco is great, especially the tire service area. The gentlemen working in Tire Service were knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. Not only were they quick to carry out my request but they were also quick to let me know of any issues and my options to remedy such issues. Never mind the fact that they provide great value on name brand trusted tires. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

This Costco is honestly not for the faint of heart. I grew up on LI and am used to the chaos of the Westbury location so I thought, "How much worse could this spot be?" I made the mistake of coming here on a Sunday, which seems to be when everyone else had the same idea. Finding a parking spot in this place felt like being in a video game where the computer players are all better than you are. I was beat out by seconds multiple times until I finally spotted my opportunity and aggressively put my blinker on to claim what was rightfully mine. It was around a 15 minute ordeal. The store itself is well organized, but small with a limited selection like others have noted. If you come here expecting to find whatever hot item you saw on a Costco social media fan page you'll be disappointed, it won't be here. That said, they have the staples at a solid value, plus some things you never knew you needed. Their sale prices are also competitive - I snagged an air fryer for $40 off today that I didn't know I needed and can't wait to try. Samples are copious at this location, too, which helps you deal with the chaotic energy. At one point a fight, broke out in the middle of the store with two people yelling at each other over one of them running into the other's basket. It took around 25 minutes on line to check out which was rough. If you survive Costco, the food court is a must to give yourself a little treat. The fact that you can get an entire pizza for under $10 here or a full sized refillable soda for under a dollar makes however much you spent at Costco feel less upsetting.

The sheer variety of options available was mind-blowing, from groceries and electronics to clothing and home goods. Love love all of the asian food options! Navigating through the aisles can feel like a maze, with carts everywhere and people bustling. During peak hours, this can be overwhelming for some. The checkout lines can get incredibly long, requiring patience and strategic timing to avoid the rush. Despite the chaotic atmosphere, the staff members are helpful and do their best to manage the crowds and assist customers. The cleanliness of the store, even with the high traffic, is commendable.

This is by far one of my favorite Costcos in NYC. Costco is meant for big families or businesses -- they sell things in bulk. This Costco is hard to get to if you are using public transportation, but who uses public transportation to go to Costco? The parking lot is exclusively for Costco customers so you do not have to pay. It does get packed during peak times (weekends and evenings). I've been told this Costco does not have as many options compared to other Costcos. Sure, it's not as big, but it's fine. There are plenty of options available. The format of this Costco is one of my favorite parts. You can smoothly check everything out before you reach the check-out center. I'm slightly biased only because I went to this location for at least 10+ years before the Rego Park location opened. The food court and the liquor store are also separate from Costco so you can go inside after shopping to get your food.

Strawberry soft serve is going to get me ALL THE TIME!!! This is the best introduction they have had with their food court menu revamp! Must get!! Vanilla was already good, but strawberry is better!! I got it all this first time! Strawberry/vanilla twist sundae! And it was only $2.50!! Value right there for a huge Costco serving!! Yum!!

MAKE SURE TO TRIPLE CHECK your fresh produce!!!I'm a big fan of Costco, don't get me wrong. All the other locations in the westcoast are meticulous but I can't say the same for this location especially the meat section. I purchased a pack of pork belly, ribeye steak, and Australian lamb chops. The meat all look fresh from the front view but I found them mostly rotten or inedible when I unpacked at home. I live only twenty mins away and went straight home with my produce. When I unpacked the lamb chops to marinade, edges were all green and slimy. When I unpacked the pork belly, aside from the top layer, everything in the bottom are just fat. I had to tossed out the lamb and 50% of the pork. Long story short, they are super strategic on packing their food mixing bad and good so you can't tell. I would double check if I were you

Costco Optical Astoria The optical manager said "Bare with me" I muttered "I have been" That sums up my very unpleasant experience attempting to replace my glasses with what consumers report gives its highest rating for purchasing glasses. Inertia, I guess, I did purchase a pair of expensive Chloe's-- much more expensive at Costco it turns out than online ---but it was my own initiative, not with any help from the manager who ungraciously pulled out a couple of pairs from the case and quickly thrust them back in before I could compare. The woman with a registered optician on her name badge was knowledgable, friendly, and helpful but she had to go on break leaving me to the manager who is obviously auditioning for a Warby Parker, Lens Crafter, or an aspirational Robert Marc or a Mikli store on Madison. The only words she deigned to utter to a lowly Costco customer were at the cash register where she asked for my membership card, address, and phone number. When I pointed out those were in her database, she said curtly "You're new to the optical department." She processed my credit card, and announced I'd receive a phone call when they were ready, turned on her heel, and walked away. Even "thank you" seemed too much. Apparently, everyone, even the manager is a registered optician but she wasn't going to share her knowledge even when she measured me for progressive lens and ordered me to hold the device that permits centering. This was an expensive learning experience. The optical department is a leased department; the trade-off is Costco showcases Kirkland frames, choices are minimal but then so is personal assistance.

Would give them zero stars if I could. Been to a bunch of Costcos and this is definitely the worst. Stock was so low no one knows where anything is and asking questions gets you treated like less than human. Also managers Maria and Lindsey were rude and disrespectful and almost make me wanna cancel my membership. Definitely skip this one if you can

solid Costco, not sure why the Yelp reviews would be low, staff is friendly, place is clean and organized properly, maybe cause getting into the parking lot can take some time? but that's the neighborhood and not Costco to blame, been doing my grocery shopping at this location every two weeks for maybe 5 years now

AVOID COSTCO & GO TO BJS!!!!! F*** this place, the poorly trained female supervisor wants to ask for ID like she's police for a membership that is paying DOUBLE for executive status- 2 people in the household allowed on that membership. I lost my Costco card & decided to use my moms which she pays $120 a year for & they refused to let me use it. Then someone on the line offered to let us use their card, which they normally allow you up to 2 payments and this wack supervisor who takes her job to seriously wants to say that's not the policy anymore & call the manager mind you I was just there a few weeks ago & had my friend use my card as well as we were shopping at the same location. F*** This place & their fake militant training buncha clowns changing policy's to their liking. I hope they go out of business

I recently visited the Costco food court and wanted to share my thoughts. If you're looking to get there, there's a convenient bus option that takes you directly to the store. As for the food, I tried the pepperoni pizza and unfortunately, it was quite soggy. However, I did notice that the cheese pizza looked much better, so if you're planning to order pizza at the food court, I would recommend sticking with the cheese option.Overall, while my experience with the pizza wasn't the best, I still appreciate the convenience and affordability of the Costco food court. It's a great option for a quick and easy meal, and the prices can't be beat. If you're in the area and looking for a budget-friendly meal, it's definitely worth checking out. Just make sure to stick to the cheese pizza!

My happy place. Some costcos are better than others and this is the former. This big. I love love looooveee that they have halal options. Also the bakery is top notch. I never get any baked goods here that aren't made by them. Can't go wrong with the $5 Rotisserie chicken. I use it for chicken salads, jujj it up for a yummy glaze if I'm in the mood for roasted chicken. Left overs can be used in so many ways! Soups, salads, quesidillas, fijitas, enchillads... a ton of spanishbfood basically, haha, fried rice and noodle dishes. You name it and there's probably a way to make it from the costco Rotisserie haha. The staff is always nice, they help me find things I'm looking for. And never leave with an empty cart haha.
