If you want to train one day to get to know boxing and test whether you like it or not, you should pay 99USD... It doesn't make sense.

Disappointed to see you are required to purchase a 3 visit drop-in when only one day visit is very normal and needed. Not very welcoming to out of town CrossFit’ers.

It is an unwelcoming box! I have had the oportunity to travel and visit CrossFit boxes All over the world, and this is the first box that doesnt allow one day drop ins. I belive is part of the CrossFit comunity to travel, share and meet new athletes, I went to the 50th street location and they didnt allow me to train for a single day, their policy is only a minimum of 3 days for $100 and I was en NY only for today.

Great facility, very welcoming, and friendly staff. Danny is a great coach. Way better than Hells Kitchen. Highly recommend!

Really great drop-in experience - easy to sign up online for drop ins, very welcoming coach, great and friendly community. I did a class but also good for open gym.

Despite the fact that you have to buy a 3-class pack minimum even for drop in, this place was great. Everyone was super cool, tons of space and equipment, no problem doing my normal programming on the side in open gym.

I had a fantastic drop in experience and CrossFit NYC on 28th street. The coaching was spot on (which can be tough for snatch drills), the facility was spotless with new equipment, and the members were welcoming. I even ran into a friend from high school I hadn’t seen in a while. If you’re in that neighborhood and looking for a gym to drop in at, I recommend this one.

I'd like to have visited but was put off by the description shared by the owner in google maps. Why don't you accept guests, visitors, or drop-ins? It feels a bit against the spirit of the community... If it's a mistake maybe you should update google maps.

Good box with great boxes.I only have it 4 stars instead of 5 because of their somewhat draconian drop-in policy that forces you to buy 3 workouts for 99$ even if you're in town for a few days.

I dropped into CF NYC for the week while traveling. Really enjoyed my workouts here. Coaches are top notch taking the time to explain fundamentals and amend workouts where needed. Box is very well maintained with clean facilities. I look forward to coming back.

I'm from San Diego and this was my first extended trip to New York. The space is great and Coach Jim was super welcoming. Loved the warm up/mobility and fluidness of the class. Thank you, CF NYC and Coach Jim!

Community, Community, Community. I just love coming into the 6am daily, surrounded by the same crew, all positive-minded, and ready to crush the workouts together. For me, I'm working from home through the week and this morning workout is how I enjoy a little morning socialization before I return to my cubical errr... apartment. Wait it's NYC... they are sort of the same thing here aren't there. LOL!If you're looking for a friendly place to Crossfit, this is it. Also, I really enjoy that, at least in the 6am class, there's not a lot of that RAH RAH in your face chanting and cheering when you're the last one finishing a workout. I always found that sort of extra attention on me at the hardest part of the workout to be a little uncomfortable and intimidating. That sort of stuff really doesn't happen here and I like the gym culture here even more for that weird little reason.Instructors stick to their schedules so you can find a routine and instructor set that works for you and feel confident you'll see the same people regularly. The gym is also "boxed" off with sections for each person. If you arrive a few minutes early to class, you can almost guarantee you will have the same area to workout in daily. It might seem like a nuance but for people like me that enjoy very consistent processes, these sort of little things add up to make daily Crossfit a harmonious activity.Hope to see you here!

You guys are making it so hard for people who wants to drop inn for a workout, I suggest you change the rules and be more open to the community of crossfit like all boxes around the world.
