Be aware - this place is not actually interested in doing standard shipping. They won't send someone out in a car to pick up an item from an auction for you and ship it via some standard service (ups/fedex/etc). Their whole schtick seems to be that they have their own van(s) that deliver things privately directly to your door, for which of course they will charge absurd amounts of money. It seems like you can either get a spot on a van at some point in the future, for presumably lots of money, or spend at least 4 figures and get a private van to deliver your stuff to you. Either way, unless you're buying a Rembrandt or something you're almost certainly better off either A) getting a local UPS store to pick up and ship your stuff instead or B) just driving down if it's close and picking it up yourself.I will say they promised a response within 48 hours but it was well over that by the time I got an email - I emailed on a Thurs AM and it was mid-Monday by the time I got a response - which is over 2 business days even excluding the weekend. I would think if they're only really serving stupid rich people they would want to respond faster, honestly.

This organization is unprofessional and discourteous. The staff here are unresponsive for days, and managers will not respond to emails or calls. The rates are exorbitant. I was recently told that there were many Art Handling services in Manhattan by a cleint representative so here are a list of some of them. Use anyone other than Crozier In Chelsea. Arcis, Uovo, Day and Meyer

The absolute worst experience with any company I have ever dealt with. They destroyed irreplaceable pieces of glass art I sent through them from LA to NY. Keep in mind the two pieces were gifts from my late Mom to my wife and I, they were precious items. They then "investigated" for a month, continually lying along the way until ... wait for it "Nothing to see here" Despite before and after photos. They were condescending, and patronizing throughout this whole experience. Please do NOT use these people.

Had to deal with Arshile Gorky Foundation and Crozier Fine Art was handling the artworks. They are not cheap but they are worth every penny. Marcos Marchesani responsible for the handling of your fine ar is just the best I ever saw after 45 years in business. Organised, efficient, patient when he could have said go somewhere else. I will deal with Crozier Fine Arts if I have to handle artworks in NY.
