After their facelift the prices seem higher, at checkout the bagger used their own store card to take our points instead of giving us our storecard before the transaction. Its unlikly we would be going back for our weekly groceries.

Employees are ridiculous lazy and lack any hospitality. You literally have to tell them to pack the groceries for you and they dont even say hi or how are you if youre not spanish

Now that's more like it . It's a little smaller than most C Town supermarkets , but it's more suitable than Trader Joe , and you can really understand their prices.

Avoid at all costs. Store is unorganized and employees are the rudest I’ve experienced in NYC.

Are you on a tight budget? This is one of the few conventional grocery stores left that's trying to keep prices down in the area, due in part to the nearby affordable housing communities. Be aware of a few sticker shocks on some products; for savings, look out for managers specials, such as lower price whole chicken, ground pork and family packs and compare the brand name stuff to the generics. This is also a good stop for Spanish groceries, Goya products, yuca, herbs, and the like. They take nearly everything, including SNAP benefits. They have more low/no sodium or sugar, heart healthy and naturally gluten free products than they used to but I'd like to see more! On the whole though, if you're a label reader, there's enough to get your shopping done here.
