This is a review for the CVS location on Third Ave at 91st St.DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION for a while. They are clearly overwhelmed by all the other local pharmacies closing down.I have now been down to this pharmacy five times to get two different prescriptions and not succeeded on either. On two consecutive occasions, over-20 minute long queues were enough to put me off.Not only won't they advise when a (common) drug is mysteriously not available if you do get to the front of the queue, not only will they not answer phones, if you do manage to get through to the pharmacy by pressing random numbers till you get through, - they will hang up on you!You can imagine how you would feel after hanging on for 7-20 minutes on nearly a half dozen occasions, to be hung upon when you DID manage to get through to someone. Then you learn that if you gave up on trying to find out if they had the drug and trusted them to have it (YES they do have my email address), they decided against telling you that they hadn't got it.

Worst CVS that I have gone to. Pharmacy people make a lot of mistakes and also the waiting for medicine is ridiculous

There is something systemic that's gone deeply wrong here: I don't know if it's this CVS, if it's all these pharmacies that expanded their shops while removing employees, or post-COVID stress. However, the people who work in the pharmacy 'drop off' area, where ostensibly you get to ask questions re your medications, clearly loathe and dread dealing with customers. I watched a lady behind the counter treat an older woman with contempt. I was then treated like a major PITA when I had a question about a migraine prescription that hadn't come through. No answers given, no help, nothing except a shrug. I'm honestly sick of feeling like a burden there for my basic medical needs. I don't take a lot of meds, I don't need a lot of care. . .but I feel very bad for those who do who use this pharmacy. Oh, and they never, ever answer their phone. Never. Which could be why there's always a line for questions.

Over the past few months this CVS has begun to utilize it's space better by having less clutter when entering, less obstacles in the aisles and keeping shelves well stocked. Every staff member I've interacted with has been helpful when I needed it...in fact, they've all been terrific. My only complaint is this CVS (and other CVS) allow dogs into the store. Oh yes, "it's a service dog" blah, blah... I can't fault the store personnel for not challenging this, however, it's illegal, and the dog owner should be told so...yet I'm sure they already know. That's my only complaint. Overall, this CVS is run very well, with excellent personnel, and I'd give it a 4.5 if I could.

I find the staff to be rude I knowledgeable and unhelpful. This is the CVS pharmacy closest to me; I prefer to use the Lexington Ave CVS for my purchases

Totally unreliable. If you need something quickly find another pharmacy. My doctor ordered pain pills for me and I received a text that they were ready. When I went to pick them up I was told they had been delivered. I returned to my building and nothing had been delivered. I called CVS and was told the pharmacy was closed for the night. I'm now going to have to be in pain all night and through the morning while they try to figure out why I didn't receive my delivery. I'm practically in tears. I'm pulling my prescriptions from them and transferring to another pharmacy.

This is a great pharmacy/store. Customer service is great. Pharmacy is generally well staffed. Decent inventory. Most corporate pharmacies in the neighborhood have none of the above. I moved around the corner from here recently, and I've moved all prescriptions here. After many years of dealing with a competitor... it has been a delight.

I asked a worker for help as she was walking pass me in an aisle and to my surprise she said, “I’m going to help a customer” as if I was not a customer either. So disgusting I will never ever visit this location again

CVS is closing a lot of stores. I sure hope this isn't one of them. I've been shopping in here for years. Recently I've been coming in here to use my coupons. They have improved as far as keeping the stock on the shelves. The employees are more helpful when I need to locate the item and also at check out. I had my passport photos taken here and that employee was really nice and very patient with me. I'm recommending you use this location so we don't lose it!!

This CVS reeks of cigarette smoke. It was giving me a headache after only being in the store for a few minutes.
