The pharmacy ladies need some training. Extremely unprofessional and rude, not willing to understand your problem. They are unable and unwilling to read and listen to any explanation. I just hope one day their family need a medication or care and are treated the same way. If you don’t like your job just quit, go find and do something it full fills you. Let people who care to have a job.

I am a veterinarian. I attempted to call in a prescription for a feline patient for some eye drops. I faxed over the prescription first and then called to make sure they did not need any additional info from me. The pharmacist was rude! He refused to fill the medication unless the O came in or called them and set up an account. He told me he did not have enough information. When in fact he had the O's name, Pet's name, address, phone, email, breed, DOB, etc. He just didn't read the RX. When I told him that and asked him what more do you need? He said he needed to know how she intended to pay for the eye drops. I have never run into this problem. I have been a practicing veterinarian for 28 years and never had an issue like this. I believe they just did not want to fill the RX or they wanted to make it difficult for the O. My advice, avoid this CVS no matter what. I am now worried they will make a mistake filling the medication. AVOID THEM.

This pharmacy is very unorganized, slow and lately, I wonder if it is safe. And they are also rude.

Pharmacy hours were posted on website and they were open as advertised. This pharmacy was also able to fulfill our prescription on a Sunday afternoon, in time for my father to receive his evening medication after hospital discharge earlier that day.One person was ahead of me, while two pharmacists were behind the counter conferring on a topic. Associated wait time was reasonable, considering the prior guest’s response to the standard DOB question was “January”. Lol.

The pharmacy there is the worst you can get. Rude! rude ! Rude! Refused to apply my GoodRX discount, refused talking to my insurer by phone, wanted to charge $88 instead of $15 for a prescription. One head woman there is particularly nasty but no need to mention her name. Anyway, avoid this location!

Extremely unprofessional! Unhelpful!I called beforehand to make sure this location had a working helium tank and they said they did so I walked out of my way to have 1 birthday balloon blown up.I get there and the clerk isn’t sure they can just charge me for the helium since I brought my own birthday balloon (a kind that cvs doesn’t sell.)He comes back from speaking with the manager and says the tank is out of helium. I offer to buy a cvs balloon and he says maybe that will work.Goes back to the back where the managers are hiding and comes back out and says no that they’re out. So I ask him to try the tank and show me that they’re out. And he doesn’t even turn it on. Just pretends.I ask to speak to the manager and “they’re working on something in the back” and can’t come out.Just saying - rite aid used to do this for me all the time before they closed locations.

I had such an incredible experience at this CVS on 500 West 23rd street. I needed to take a passport photo and this wonderful gentleman named Andre really helped me. Andre was so kind, helpful and extremely patient while I was stressed out trying to get a decent photo of myself. Andre hung in there with me with humor and patience until I got the shot that I could live with. I really appreciated his kindness and his co-worker Shelema for making me laugh and helping me out. CVS 500 West 23rd street you have a great team and hopefully you appreciate them as much as I do. Thank You Andre For such excellent customer service. Side note....$14.99 for 2 passport photos. Plus wonderful, stress free assistance.

Perfectly adequate urban CVS that was pretty much the same as any other urban CVS I've seen in Raleigh NC or Boston MA. Tightly packed narrow aisles with merchandise from floor to ceiling. It's almost claustrophobic. They had the coolers with snacks and drinks, lots of candy, lots of greeting cards plus personal care and cosmetics and a pharmacy. All you could possibly need. They did have security standing around. It's NYC.[Review 15707 overall - 298 in New York - 1211 of 2021.]

Wow this is the largest CVS that I have ever seen. The store wraps around the block.

This location is quintessential NYC. Low ceilings, tight corners, narrow aisles, packed shelves. They have just about everything you need in a corner drug store/convenience store, aside from enough elbow room while moving around. I have never had a prescription filled there, but I have bought lots of diapers, baby wipes, ice cream (a lot of ice cream), etc., etc., you get the idea. It is the go to spot for things needed in a pinch (see above about packed shelves. The staff here is super friendly and quite often there is someone at the door greeting guests....by name. That is cool that they really get to know their customers.
