The hospital sent me here to dispose of medication in their disposal box. They only take certain types of medication in the box, most kinds you have to call the number on the box to arrange for a shipping label to be mailed to you so you can UPS the medication.

Let me be clear: my review is about the experience I had with the Minute Clinic last year (2023) when I got a flu shot. I will buy anything here, because the staff and pharmacy staff are thoughtful and great. And I will never seek shots or vaccines at this location after my experience last year.CVS is operating disingenuously and, dare I say, fraudulently by working with physicians whose practices are not in New York State. The flu shot I received was administered by a staff member of one such doctor, whose practice is in the state of Maine. Unfortunately, my insurance policy doesn't cover services that occur outside of NYS. While I received the flu shot on East 34th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, because CVS (which is headquartered in Woonsocket, RI) chooses to work with people whose practices are not in NYS, yet they have staff who, apparently, can work in NYS.Unfortunately, and here is where the fraudulent stuff comes up, you are billed not by CVS, but by CVS dba (doing business as) Minute Clinic and your received services are listed as being provided by an out of state physician. Your payment will go to this out of state physician. And your insurance, in my case Anthem, will deny coverage because out of state is, obviously, out of network.Flu shots are free. Mine, conducted via this unbelievably greedy procedural, cost $50: $25 for the shot, $25 for the labor. I will continue to fight the billed payment, because CVS is a bad actor and, where Minute Clinic is concerned, intentionally unclear. Now you know.

I went to pick up a prescription today at the pharmacy and the pharmacist at the consultation area was very rude to me, she was lacking compassion as well as customer service. I will never have a prescription sent over from NYU to this pharmacy ever again.

Nearly every item in this store is locked in a plexiglass case, necessitating the painfully slow process of tracking down an employee to unlock the case for EACH. AND. EVERY. ITEM. that customers are attempting to purchase. Given CVS's astonishingly regressive and frustrating shopping experience, I have shifted to purchasing all of the items I previously bought at CVS via Amazon. I advise others avoid this terrible customer experience at all costs.

I love this cvs it’s always a trustworthy place to get anything late at night and I’ve been going to this location for years and the staff are always friendly and helpful when it comes to scanning my items. I don’t understand where the hate towards the employees are coming from but trust me they are people they are fine they won’t bite you. Always a great spot to run in and get flu medicine or pick up your prescriptions

Fatya was extremely rude and condescending. She does not know how to talk to customers & explain CVS policies. If coupons sent to the card (as indicated in the CVS app) do not appear in the CVS screen, that is a CVS system error/glitch & the price needs to be manually modified. Thank you to the Ops Manager for fixing. Incompetent and lacking manners, Fatya, please pick a struggle.

The pharmacy say that they are understaffed but in reality, they are not properly trained.

The experience at the Pharmacy pickup section was so poor it's almost laughable. After waiting roughly 40 minutes in a line that had two people in it, my order was "canceled" and had to be done over because they were "at capacity with orders". Keep in mind, I was never notified of this cancellation, rather I was notified that I had until July 28th (a week from now) to pick up my order. I was informed by what I assume is the Manager / head of the pharmacy that the policy is to hold items after 6 days due to capacity, so why inform customers that they have more time to pick up their order when this is untrue? Also I forgot to mention, this was my second time at the pharmacy today since they forgot to give me that exact order earlier today. This place really needs some improvement. Several people in line were also complaining, further highlighting how terribly the customer service is.

The convenience store portion is fine, better than the other options in the neighborhood. Lots of self checkouts I never have to wait there. The pharmacy can be a mess. I guess because it’s close to the hospital it gets a lot of customers? Don’t come between 4 - 7 PM because the line will be half an hour just for pickups. And sometimes the pharmacists are not the friendliest (seem overwhelmed).Like others have said, during Flu season they tell you they take walk-ins for vaccines. When I tried they told me they were too busy and to come back another day. So make an appointment, then it’s fine.

First I’d like to say I enjoy CVS but not this location. Employees seem to think we shop there for them resulting in rude unprofessionalism from pharmacy to register even female manager. Please retrain this branch’s employees to be courteous or replace them. I know many good attitude honest people who’d be grateful for their positions here. Let’s do better or risk shutting down like other locations.

Dealing with medications and insurance of any sort is already a task and this pharmacy does nothing to make it easier. I was given the run around so much, with so much back and forth and treated like an annoyance in a situation I had very little control over. I was given attitude and hung up on intentionally by the pharmacist. The professionalism went all the way out of the window. I understand it may be a stressful job but I’ve never worked anywhere and expressed my being upset to clients or customers. If I could handle everything virtually or on the app I would’ve loved to.

THE WORST PHARMACY EXPERIENCE ON THIS EARTH. Absolutely useless, condescending, rude, selfish people work here and i have NEVER had a normal experience. Not once. It must be this location i absolutely hate these people and wish nothing but the worst for anyone in the pharmacy department. Disgrace to humanity and that’s me being nice. Really not okay something needs to be done

Their phone options really do not allow you to talk to anyone live. Why have a phone number to call if the only result is a summary of what you can see online? incredibly frustrating.
