This place is not good. They gave me an electric kia and said that the Tesla charger adapter was inside, when they took a look they said that it wasn’t in there and that the adapters were at the charging stations. I almost ran out of power trying to find a suitable place to charge. I recommend you go to another place if you want to rent a car.

Had to get buzzed in felt like a pawn shop very lazy and unmotivated employee who made sure to inform me that she wouldn't be able to help me until she took her aspirin first well if you didn't want to work when you came to work you should have stayed home you could have took all the aspirin you wanted. Dumb & Dumber

My recent experience with this office was excellent. Very friendly staff. Dollar has reasonable price. I would recommend it.

Customer desk seemed fine, car seems clean, but expect to pay double what you’re actually quoted when you arrive even with basic coverages, and will admit that they intentionally leave it out. We’ll see if they attempt to pull anything stupid after drop off as well.

I've read many reviews where people have said that if they could give zero stars they would, and now I understand. The worst customer service experience ever.I originally had a reservation for 3/20, but went on the Dollar website on 3/18 to change the res for today, 3/23. I received a confirmation showing the new date and time and took a screenshot of it to be certain. I arrived at the South End Ave location (where the reservation originally was) only to find a sign on the door stating the location was temporarily closed for the day, and redirecting customers to the 99 Charles St location, which is not walking distance, so took a cab for $20.When I arrived at Charles St, I mentioned this to the rep and he said he would deduct the $20 from the cost. So far so good.Problem was their system still showed that my reservation was for 3/20 and that it had not been changed. I showed him my confirmation showing 3/23 but he insisted he could not do anything and that I need to make a new reservation. I reluctantly agreed and went on their site to do this. Problem was that the same res was now $199 instead of $59 and the rep would not adjust the price in spite of the fact that clearly I had a confirmation showing that I had modified the res successfully.I called customer service and they said all they are capable of doing is issuing a refund but, since I was not charged, there was nothing further they could do.As I would not pay $199 for a res that I had made for $59 originally, left. No car. No apologies from anyone. The absolute worst customer service i have ever received anywhere.

I had a seamless experience: booked a car the evening before (and received a pretty decent deal and vehicle), showed up on time and got the keys with no wait or hassle. Dropped the car off at another location and was not hit with any additional fees or games.Would recommend based on this one experience.

First car thilthy so requested another. It was also a mess. Dirty carpet, dried blueberries in the door grip you pull to close door. Stains on seat. Grimy steering wheel. For what it cost it should be clean.

Hidden gem car rental. The people are kind, efficient, and no frills. Cars have been clean and well kept every time I rent with them. The associate that works the front office is exceptional!!! Love her Location is always a pain to locate, idk why but my gps always wants to go to the HERTZ Address is tucked on sweet 99 Charles St

This location says it is open until 10pm on Tuesdays. It is not. I had to drive across town to the facility at 2nd and 22nd in order to drop off the car.

I was in and out in about 15 min. Representative at the counter was friendly and helpful. Car was right out of the car wash and clean. I was hesitant with all the other past reviews but I had no issues at all.

I don't think Dollar even knows this place still exists. Booked online & the pickup location I was given was WRONG. (But wait it get worse)After locating & walking 3 miles to actually find the right place the Desk Representative informed me that they were out of full size vehicles, which was fine, she gave me a mid size but tried to charge me the full size rate.(Not on my watch also keep in mind this woman's attitude the entire time was garbage)And when I let her know she needs to charge me the proper amount for the car her attitude only got worse.I receive the only car available at the time. It was NOT CLEANED & smelled like something was rotting or dying which smelled up the entire car.Never again... 0 StarzThen I try to make a serious complaint online & the site refuses to let me submit....STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION

Not sure why this location has negative reviews. I picked up my car first thing Monday dropped it off today. Smooth pick up, smooth drop off. Fill the tank before you return the car and you won't get hit with hidden fees. Be a courteous consumer and clean the car before returning. Wipe up spills and pet hair. Not rocket science. Booked with Orbitz at the last minute for a family event. Karen at the front desk was kind, courteous, professional and friendly. Sometimes customers have a weird sense of entitlement and off the wall expectations. Always call before pick up to confirm a reservation and be patient with other human beings. Everyone preaches "tolerance" and "acceptance" everywhere except when other humans fall short of exceeding expectations during business transactions. I get that you want to go to the Hamptons or Fire Island or the Hudson Valley but just keep in mind sometimes variables pop up and it's not easy to predict roadblocks like late returns. We're recovering from a global pandemic. One would think kindness and compassion were paramount. Petty is so 2019.
