I called Duane Reade. A robot picked up the phone. It thought it knew how to help me, but it didn't. Nothing I said could convince it to let me talk to a human. Complete waste of time

I switched to this pharmacy because they have been much, much more helpful in dealing with the ADHD med shortage than any other pharmacy I have tried. They pick up the phone, they answer questions, they stock meds. Really, I can’t ask for more than that from a pharmacy.

I'm not in the neighborhood, but went here for my latest covid vaccination. They were amazingly organized and quick. And both the pharmacy tech and and intern pharmacist were so sweet and kind - not just to me, but with everyone they were dealing with. So impressed!

Giving an update to let people know that seven months after my last review absolutely nothing has changed. I just waited 20 minutes on hold and then gave up and hung up. It is unacceptable that the pharmacy does not pick up the phone. I've learned my lesson. Do not go here!

Horrendous. I am a doctor trying to ensure someone gets their medication. When you call, they place you on hold and never pick up. You can hear them pick up the phone and. put it right back on hold. They keep on faxing me something to a business cell phone number. There is no communication to be had here. Providers, do not send prescriptions here. Community members, get your meds filled elsewhere.

My prescriptions were transferred here when my regular pharmacy closed. This pharmacy is IMPOSSIBLE to reach by telephone, doesn't offer an email, fax or other manner of contact. So if you are not ready to walk nearly a mile to get there in person, basically their response is "f*ck you." I have repeatedly called, sat on hold for extended periods of time, never had a human actually pick up. Lousy, lousy service for a pharmacy where it should be expected that a patient will be calling with questions or information they need. There is no way to tell them you want prescriptions delivered, either. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Awful. Rite Aid in Brookfield leaves and THIS is where they send your prescription? They don't answer the phone in the pharmacy. You stay on hold and then they pick up the phone laughing and put it back on hold. I'm currently on the phone on 20 min hold just to re-iterate what I already asked them to do yesterday and that is deliver my prescription as they are way up in north battery park and I'm in south BPC. Simple, right? The Walgreens on Broadway is way more professional. This place is terrible. I'm going to have to end up walking up there.

The listing here is incorrect. The "Pickup" hours are not 7a-10p, they are 9a-1:30, then 2-6. The pharmacy is completely closed at all other hours, even for pickups. They moved to these limited hours during Covid and have never gone back to their pre-Covid hours.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs, woman working there is clearly unhappy and unwilling to work with customers....asked a simple question and got a short snarky response as she turned her back and walked away

Worst pharmacy customer service I've ever received at a Duane Reade Pharmacy. So unlike Duane Reade. The only helpful person is the pharmacist, the pharmacist assistances we're so rude and unhelpful, the pharmacist needed to step in twice to help! Hoping this review will reach the staff
