A dismal place, where practically everything you might want at a pharmacy (soap, toothpaste, shampoo) is locked away in a case. Bad store policies turn a 2-minute shopping trip into 30 minutes of waiting for someone to finally come respond to the “help needed” button and unlock the case.

On 9/25 I was panicking looking for a restroom in Harlem. I wasn’t going to be able to make it to Jersey City where I reside.I found a Duane reade on 125th st, I asked if I could use the restroom, mind you it’s empty in there, didn’t think it would be a problem. the associate and security guard was very spicy/unprofessional. I asked for a number to corporate. The associate said I’ll get the store manager. The store manager said there is a number on your receipt.As a pregnant woman, I’ve never felt so dismissed and discouraged in my life. So Duane Reade/Walgreens in nyc doesn’t allow their pregnant customers at that never mind regular Customers or older customers who keep their business going ,to use their restroom? It’s very sad and if you check I’m a huge Walgreens customer. NOT ANYMORE! I will take my business else where.

in regards to employee behavior at the following walgreens/duane reade site: 568 w 125th st, new york, ny 10027i was walking by as a male employee was yelling and throwing out a male customer. i turned my head to wards the male leaving the store as i had not gotten to the entrance yet to see what the yelling was about. when i walked by the door where the male employee was i looked in just to see what the issue was and he suddenly looked dead at me and yelled very loudly and angrily "and you too tell all your crackhead friends" to stay outta here we dont play that shit... basically implying that i was a crackhead and a shoplifter!!!! i was humiliated embarrassed and very upset as you could imagine as i had done nothimg nor said anything to him. i decided to walk in and ask for his mamger and at the door he tried to block me from coming in stopped me amd asked me what i was there for - i have shoped there in the past numerous times . i told him i would like to speak to his manager. while i waited he exclaimed loudly "all of that stuff in her bag is stolen" to which i replied i had receipts for every item indide my bag. (which was from food bazaar in a food bazaar reusable bag ) and in front of all of those staff and customers i was even more humiliated and embarrassed by this employee once again! at one point i told him politely it is not right to judge people. at first he motions to a male staff that was behind the counter and said something like "bro you my manager right?" the male staff looks at him puzzled and stood silent- then the male staff member leaves from behind the counter and tells me one moment someone will be with me. a female employee comes over after looking already bothered by me and completely dismisses me and what i had to say even going as far to tell me i was wrong about what happened and she was not there for any of it and im very uncertain that was his manager because her response which ended with her stomping away from me rolling her eyes as i was still talking is definitely not manager behavior. i was insulted judged stereotyped shamed based on my physical body appearance- we should be past doing that to people it is 2023!!! his insults and accusations and her dismissive attitude brought up a lot of past traima issues. i dont believe someone who yells and insults someone walking by the store and then nonchalantly accuses same person of possessing stolen items should go without reprimand of some sort. i was unfairly targeted because of how i look. that is very wrong and this employee needs training in sensitivity towards customers.

The staff at 568 west 125th are very unprofessional plus take to long when it comes to customer service especially today thanks the security guard was able to get someone to help me very unpleasant experience

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They consistently don’t have my prescriptions that they’ve alerted me are ready, or claim prescriptions that have been ordered haven’t. They repeatedly tell me there are random issues with my insurance, but then my insurance states there’s no problem. They have extremely rude staff, terrible customer service and overall make me dread picking up my medication every single time.

This pharmacy is a joke. I thought the point of urgent care is urgency! Waited hours for a simple prescription pickup that was sent from a block away. The pharmacy tech suggested I go back to urgent care to tell them to resend the prescription. I did. Still waiting............. Unacceptable.....

The website for this location plus the automated phone message stated that one can get passport pictures here.The store has no photo section. The worker I asked for help was nice, and confirmed that the website is wrong.

Absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I was due to pick up my medication today, but the pharmacy is unexpectedly “temporarily closed”. I’ve been frantically trying to reach my doctor to get my prescription transferred since I’m out of my medication. This is an incredibly unreliable pharmacy with some of the rudest staff I’ve encountered. I do not recommend this place at all. Try Hartley Pharmacy or any other local pharmacies instead, not this god forsaken place. I’ve had a horrible experience every time I’ve come here.

This was honestly the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had in my life, and I wouldn't wish my two hour vaccination debacle upon even my worst enemy. This was all due to the incompetency of one employee. I went in for a flu shot and a COVID vaccine along with 2 friends (what I'd assume is standard procedure for a pharmacy), and they botched every part of it. First, after checking in for their shot appointment, my friend had to wait 30 minutes to get their paperwork to fill out for the vaccine. After repeatedly asking the employee for the file, he said he didn't even realize he had to give them the paperwork, and they would've been stuck waiting indefinitely. Then, when my friend finally got their paperwork, their name was spelled incorrectly, even though it had been submitted spelled correctly online when making the appointment. They asked for new paperwork, and once AGAIN it was spelled incorrectly. Finally, on the third time they were able to get their proper form with their name spelled properly. My other friend has a hard time handling shots, and the same employee made their experience even worse. After they got nervous from the needle, he mocked them and made fun of their discomfort. After receiving my booster shot, the same employee prepared my flu shot. When he put it into my arm, however, I guess he hadn't screwed the needle in properly, so he squirted flu juice all over my arm and none of it went in through the needle. He then dashed away to get a new shot, while the original hole from the shot bled down my arm. Finally, he got another vaccine and put it in the same bloody hole as the first one, which was extremely painful. For the next few days, my shoulder hurt and the skin even turned green around the area of the shot. Safe to say I will never be returning to this horrific Duane Reade, and will be moving my business to CVS and other pharmacies for good. It is unbelievable this man has sustained a job.

I just left Urgent Care, and I have to get a prescription. They have ONE line, that is about ten people long. Beware!!!!
