I purchased 6 items around 3pm today. I thought the lemon apricot cake was a bit dense and the creme was a bit dry and then I noticed the dark blue spots of MOLD!! I called the store and they tried to deny selling me anything! I hope a health inspector sees this and pays them a visit!

I really love this time in his bakery, what I love most about it is they’re very very fresh sign milk. I don’t know if they still don’t take CCs there now, but they’re no credit card policy was a bit ridiculous. I hope they changed it.Vegetarian options: The freshly made soy milk is probably some of the best in the city.

Great neighborhood Chinese bakery with pastries, cakes, and bread. It’s located at the subway exit and has a $10 card minimum.

The lady answering the phone was extremely rude. I asked a question and she hang up on my face. Do better.

Love going here for breakfast. Affordable, tasty, and filling: the trifecta of perfect everyday food. The two standouts are the BLT and taro puff. Yes, the BLT is an unconventional rec for a Chinese bakery, but it uses sticky Chinese bread and it’s consistently delicious. The mashed taro is mildly sweet and still warm in the early morning, a comfort food.

Love it. I am very seldom in NYC, I go to this store every time I go to NYC. I love their tuna bun for myself, chicken bun and sausage bun for my husband. I even ask for frozen chicken buns to take home and I will just steam it myself. I like the sesame balls too. Hotdog in a bun for my son.

I love this little gem. Amazing variety of Chinese buns and pastries. The red bean cakes are delightful and the fried pork dumplings sinfully good. A great selection of steamed buns and fried patties, and the prices can’t be beat. Skip all the fancy West Village bakeries and hit this place up for a real NYC culinary experience.

Wonderful customer service and delicious baked goods. Highly recommend! Mochi is best when served cold. I got the taro mochi and it was really good!

Staff was not friendly. The roast pork puff tasted like a week old, one of the worst I’ve tasted in my life. I am Taiwanese so I know what I’m talking about. The curry beef puff was ok. In addition, these puffs should be kept warm and not at room temperature.

Paid $25 for the matcha Japanese cheesecake...and it didn't even taste like Japanese cheesecake. Just normal cake with slight cheesecake flavor. Also the buns I got tasted stale. Go to Chinatown, way better and fresher. so disappointed ?

Best sponge cake! Also as macha sponge cake available. Everytime I'm in New York I go there. It's a must!
