A sketchy operation that exists to collect hidden fees from customers. You can’t ever reach them by phone, and they have no warehouse of their own. Be sure to read ALL the fine print, including about the 30% “restocking fee” for ALL returns, even if the return is because their incompetent delivery service can’t get your item to your home.EDIT: They responded to this review within 2 hours, but have not reached out to me to correct the problem, and have not responded to my attempts to contact them. BUYER BEWARE.

I ordered beautiful table but the marble was darker, base was not the same as I see from the website. I called them and they said they cannot take return because marble is nature stone that they cannot match exactly the same with the site that I could understand. As I tried to take picture for them to send, I found the chip on the side and the stone did not sit well on top of base. I had to send the photo, and their response took always too long. They advertised that 30 or 60 days return. I thought that was free return but I have to pay for the shipping cost that would be a lot of money to return. They have a beautiful stuff but I am not sure if this defected item would be returned or exchanged without cost or they are going to give me a hard time... I have to see. I will post how would they handle my return process.But you really have to be careful what to order because return would not be very difficult so far. I am patiently waiting their respond.

Luis was amazing in helping sort out some of the difficulty with the order. He was able to work with the store management to assure timely delivery as well as confirming the correct order. He stayed in constant contact to make this as seamless as possible. Looking forward to seeing my new furniture in my home. Luis thank you for your time and efforts on my behalf. Luis is a great asset for Frances and Son.

If I can add 10 starts I’ll cause is so amazing. I order 6 items on their website for my new house on August 18 in Chicago they delivered me the last aug 30 with a professional delivery team .. so professional the team . If all of the furnitures companies in usa can be like this it will be great ..

I am very satisfied with this sofa, which was delivered today. It's bigger and sturdier than I thought. And a huge thank you to Lydia Anderson who helped ensure the smooth delivery of this sofa. I love this France and Son so much and will continue to use it in the future.

What horrible customer service! Quick to take your money but if there is a problem you can’t get any satisfaction. Table delivered (I paid for white glove inside delivery). The assembly people had no clue how table should be set up. Had trouble inserting glass. Finally after about an hour and phone calls realized they had the base upside down and that was reason glass could not fit. Glass scratched. Needs to be replaced. Base fine. Getting run around from customer service two weeks already. They asked for photos which I sent. They claim not clear. I tried again and again. I finally said if you don’t believe me send someone to see it. I asked to escalate this claim. Such poor service. I won’t recommend this retailer to anyone. Stay away!!!

I purchased a day bed which was never delivered. Later I was notified that the item was sold out and could not be delivered, but my money was not refunded. Customer service did not respond to multiple emails asking for my funds (including extra money I paid for white glove deliver) to be refunded. I have opened a dispute with my credit card company and hope to get back the nearly $2000 this company effectively stole from me. :)

Do I have your attention yet? The multiple emails, texts, calls over the past several weeks have yielded no results, and I am considering cancellation. Briefly, I placed an order for furniture in July and paid an additional $150 for it to be held and NOT TO BE SHIPPED until the end of October. The following week I received an email it would be shipping soon. I emailed, texted, spoke with Ana and others in Customer Support, and after apologies I was assured it would be rectified. Since then, I have received multiple emails telling me the furniture will be delivered soon. Yesterday and last evening, I received one promising delivery for next week, immediately followed by another email, apologetic for the confusion and promising delivery the first week in September! I immediately texted the online number, explaining as simply as possible the issue, only to have the agent tell me not to worry as the furniture will definitely be there by September 5! The messages for customer service and shipping are eerily similar, each saying no one is able to help you now, call back, goodbye. WTH? On my text last evening I directed the agent to look at my invoice, and only then did she tell me she is in sales and has no knowledge about shipping details or my order!!! I retained screenshots of everything since the order was placed. Caveat emptor! Read reviews before ordering online. Pay a bit more but go with quality and an adept customer support team.

Very disappointed with my experience today.I previously purchased a desk from France & Son and it went smoothly. I went back and forth with them on a quote for two dining room cabinets. They sent a few proposals then we spoke and they offered free shipping as a custom discount. I was so surprised they would offer such a steep discount plus free shipping. They sent the proposal to purchase with the substantive discount and free shipping exactly as we discussed by phone and I said I’d take about 90 days to finalize the purchase because of an unexpected, major expense with my home, which happened a couple of days before I called back about waiting to make the purchase after the quote.Tonight I went to finalize the purchase and received a phone call from a rep. that said the discounts were too much and they wouldn’t honor their proposal nor the sale unless I went to the site to purchase more items to make up for the discounts provided on the two pieces I was quoted. I had just made other purchases at other vendors and wasn’t ready to decide to buy more on the fly. Ultimately, they the rep. said France & Son was going refund, since I felt adamant they should honor the proposal and price provided. Needless to say, I don’t think I’ll trust the process nor return for anything else. I was really looking forward to getting these pieces.

i would have given zero star if that's an option. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. This company is a scam and extremely irresponsible. I ordered sectional on 7/31, at the time their website showed this item was in stock and ETA is 3-5 weeks to be delivered, a month went by with no updates and no one followed up. I had to call 20 times to get an update on my order and every time their response was the item is getting ready to be shipped. Yesterday when I called, all of sudden they claim the item was backordered and now it won't arrive until Oct. When I requested the cancellation, they wanted to charge me a 10% cancellation fee stating the cancellation was after 7 days and they need to cover the "admin cost". This is outrageous, first of all I wasted 4 weeks to wait for my purchase arrive and when I was forced to cancel, they wanted to charge a hefty 10% cancellation?? They explained that they have no control over the inventory/stock availability from the manufacture, so if that's the case, why do you put a policy to charge 10% cancellation after 7 days when struggle to provide your customer the most up-to-date information? They basically wanted the consumer to pay for their mess up and inability to forecast their inventory.

This is stop one...next attorney General office and consumer protection, finally getting allover social media.I ordered a approx 1600 painting. 3 months went by. Heard every excuse in the book. It had to be made, waiting on materials, being sent out next week and the list goes on. Bottom line, never came. Finally I had to do a dispute on my credit card and won finally because they didn't respond. They are a lying company, no phone number to call and they take forever to respond. Sit back and enjoy the ride. It is my mission to make sure you never screw someone ever again. You suck!!!

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. It took them 4 weeks to let us know that our couch was discontinued and no longer available. When we ordered it they didn't give a shipping date. We already paid for the item. I've asked for a refund multiple times. Terrible experience. TOTAL SCAM. It's still up in the air to know if we will get a refund. DO NOT shop here.

I ordered a Dylan sofa from France & Son. It was delivered within the time frame stated and the delivery staff were awesome. The sofa is exactly what we wanted and fits beautifully in our living room. It is very difficult to find a low back sofa that fits under a large window and this one is perfect.
