I used to work here maybe 15 years ago at an actual location, and man they ain't what they used to be. The options online are dwindling (Cherry cordials have been out of stock for at least a few months) and they make you buy some of the smaller items in bulk. No thank you I do not want to buy 24 chocolate bars in bulk for 70 something dollars. If we're willing to pay shipping, why not just send however many we would like to purchase? Or maybe offer a smaller bulk that's more manageable for the average person, like 5 to 10 bars? We're not trying to stock a store ourselves and don't need that many. In addition, people would go nuts for a "build your own box" where you can pick the pieces and pay what that amounts to in weight like they used to have in-store. I understand that might not be feasible, but the personalization and options are lacking at this point.I had a good experience with customer service over the phone when I needed it though as a positive point!

Can't place an order. They have the WORST customer service. AWFUL!!! Buy DOVE BARS without the high price and Mindless help. AWFUL!!!!!!!

I purchase chocolate for the holidays yearly . This time I have applied a discount coupon, and it turned out they ran out of the brand I have ordered. They called me to change my order, and I ordered a different brand, however they refused to apply the discount coupon as they said it was already used. Not fair.

Every year I order about 20 boxes to be delivered to friends and mostly to doctors, therapists and others who have helped during the year. This year 2 boxes were not delivered . One UPS called and said they were sending back to Godiva and Ashley said I would receive a refund and nothing. Another shows delivered but the receipient checked with building management and nothing. Can't get a straight answer and you can only e mail or text. Really poor service from a customer who puts in that many orders every year.

I placed the order one week ago, but received nothing after one week. So I contacted the customer service, then they said there was no order in your account. Then I sent them the screenshot for my account to show them I placed the order. Then they admitted that oh, it was a system error. They did not receive the order information. Then they asked me to place a new order, and it took me about an hour for the new order in the chat, and I did not receive the confirmation email after I made the payment. So I contacted them again, and after receiving the email I found out they placed a wrong item for me. Then I had to contact them again to make the correction, they said no changes could be made. Then I requested to cancel the order, they said that was not an option. This is really the worst shopping experience I ever had. No one from the CS team is helpful.

I bought 3 boxes of chocolate gir wedding for dear friend. They send the items late and I had to leave town. They made me contact Ups and pay 7.99 to forward back to sender. Eventhough she got it back in warehouse, she still did not refunded. I filed a dispute with anex but she won't release the funds. I spoke with BBB but still I did not get my 109$ back. Sherry, the NY manager refused to help me and purposely did not refund my money.

Terrible service. I placed an order on Thur. I paid $22 extra for 2 day service. As of the following Wed my order still has not arrived. I contacted customer service and they said Wed is the 2nd day because Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon DO NOT count as business days. Therefore Tues is day 1 and Wed is day 2. WHAT!? Fri and Mon are not business days!? So paying extra for 2 day delivery was a complete waste of money. A so called 2 day order can actually take 6 days and the company will argue how it is still only 2 days. Toilet paper math! Never again.

I have never been more disappointed with service especially from a company who is supposed to be highly rated. My order was placed on December 4th and not delivered in the time frame that it was supposed to be. These chocolates were gifts for teachers who never got them because they were greatly delayed. I also received an email that I would be notified when the shipment was to be sent to me, but that did not occur. I sent three separate emails to customer service with no response. I ultimately was left with no choice and had to go out and purchase new gifts for all of my children's teachers. I will not be recommending Godiva c nor will I be purchasing from you again.

I like to buy chocolate. I buy from Maison du Chocolate, Lindt and other brands. Never had a worse experience than Godiva, they really don't give 2 cents for their customer experience. The sad part they used to be good. What happen? New direction or vision I guess. Keep going that way alienating your customers, soon you guys will be the Kodak of the chocolate world. Avoid.

Buyer beware!! Their sales are deceiving because they "reserve the right to substitute pieces." They take the best one out and replace it with whatever. If you're going to do that then remove the description from the box and stop taking advantage of your customers.

Very very poor customer service. They substitute pieces without notifying customers. The customer service did not solve problems at all rather than keep saying it’s not their mistakes. I will give 0 stars!!!! Poor service, very disappointed.

I read all the reviews and I say Wow ! People should give this place a break. Godiva and other businesses have had it tough since the pandemic. Yes, if you received a box and opened it, no they won't take it back for fear of spreading the virus and if you have a tough time communicating with one person, speak to someone else ! Don't let China win. They already own most of the US. Help the companies that are having a tough time. Godiva is a great chocolate.

It melts and if you don’t let them know in 30 days that their product arrived melted they won’t stand by their product. I was 1day too late when I opened the inedible box at Christmas. 4 days too late when I contacted them. No replacement No refund. Out all $$ for the melted gifts I gave my friends. Embarrassed too. Watch out. Who opens their presents before Christmas?

I ordered a 32 piece box of chocolates. When it arrived, a third of the pieces were missing. When I chatted with Customer Service, I was told to send a picture of the contents and Godiva would reimburse me for the missing pieces. Really???
