The prices are a joke. Yesterday I went there and saw extremely beat up Dansko clogs for $29.99.

This goodwill location has been around for many years that I can remember. It's a pretty big one. They usually keep it pretty organized for the most part. I have come here a-lot and usually the staff I come in contact with are not the friendliest. Most seem like they don't want to be working there or they don't want to be bothered by questions. It is an easy place for me to drop off give away donations I have.

Great stuff to find. Service is usually good but this time we ended back of the line over and over again because we had a huge shoppingcart full. So bad service this time unfortunately. But it's for a good cause and I love shopping here.

One of my favorite thrift stores in the city. I can usually find one new hidden treasure that just has to come home with me. Note, if you haven't been here recently the second floor is open again though at about half capacity to what it used to be.

All I wanted was to buy a spoon. The rude little girl at the cash register said I couldn’t buy it since there was no price tag. So I asked her if she could put a price tag on so I could buy it and she said no if they put a price tag on today you can only buy it tomorrow. This is really dumb.

Great location and store is packed to brim. Sometimes I can find the item I needed plus anything and everything else! Definitely need time to peruse.

Hmm, use to love this store, the managers, staff, were always so friendly, personable. Not sure the changes at this location was a good change. The store setup is chaotic, messy, unorganized. Ugh!!

Always great to give! A beloved UES staple and great place to do some thrifting. Happy they are still around. They process more donations than all the other area thrift stores combined

A very small and busy Goodwill. Again clothes are the main item but there was some lovely items that I purchased. The store employees were nice and the stock guy that was thanking customers every 5 mins was really sweet.

Staff not so nice. Too many people looking and not anything spectacular. You want a big plastic shopping bag they wouldn't let you buy it for any price. Ebay is better.

UPDATE: As with all Goodwill stores now, they've over homogenized them and the prices aren't really thrifty, to me. I don't often buy first run retail, so maybe that's why I still think $15 for a used tank top is a lot.Their product varies by neighborhood, of course, but my memory is that this store on the UES used to have some real treasures and now is just all run-of-the-mill every day where just like every other Goodwill.Salvation Army is cheaper and more interesting, but I hate to support them and their hateful politics so, there's that.

Been shopping at this store for 20 years.Suddenly they have a new policy that the fitting room closes 30 minutes before the store closes.Do they have signs anywhere stating this? No, because that would make sense.Instead you go to the fitting room at 6:32pm and you're told this new policy. All the while you're just trying to buy 3 things to benefit charity.

I take a lot of things there. Wow are they busy, you can't believe how many items are dropped off daily. They do a beautiful job of displaying the clothing and Shoes. Upstairs they have more clothing and also home goods, nicely displayed. They also have a location on the corner NE corner of 60th or 61st on First Avenue, NYC.
