They have attractive merchandise.and I was excited to shop there. The worst part was the passive aggressive responses to inquiries. Disappointing. because I like to support small businesses first. Silver lining: I saw something that I liked in the store. I just took a picture of what I liked left and I just purchased my appliance elsewhere.

Sold us a dud fridge (loud compressor) and won't return our calls or emails after an initial service visit acknowledged the fridge was noisy. We'll need to buy a new fridge and will be out the few thousand we spent at Gringer. As an aside, stay away from Blomberg appliances... very poor quality and design.

Gringer & Sons was very helpful during the pandemic. As reported in the news, there were severe supply chain shortages & labor shortages as well. Certain appliances were particularly difficult to acquire. My kitchen was unusable, so I didn't really have a choice. The renovatI needed a dishwasher, they were out of stock everywhere; the salesman at Gringer arranged to sell me a floor model, at a nice discount. Delivery was smooth, the unit was installed and works perfectly. Looks really nice too - it's Miele brand so it looks expensive, even though I received a great discount. The salesperson (who unfortunately has retired) was great too, good sense of humor and clear communication. Highly recommend!

I would give negative stars if it was an option.RUN RUN RUN to any other appliance store but do NOT shop here.Gringer & Sons is the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had shopping.Aldo in Sales is horrible and cares nothing about helping you get the right appliance or the right size. We brought all measurements and were sold the wrong size appliance. We went into a specialty store for the help provided by the sales people. We should have gone to a big box store instead or even online would have been better.Customer service is completely non-existent. After spending almost $8,000 they do not care at all that the microwave doesn't fit. The installers called and told them it didn't fit. Aldo is a liar and said, his guys could make anything work. Well it still doesn't fit. And looks HORRIBLE. After weeks of emails, phone calls, conversations with Karina, the Manager, I have gotten no where in returning this microwave for the correct sized one and today I found out she no longer works there and no one can help. I spoke to the owners daughter once time, she was useless and didn't care at all about the problem as a matter a fact, she put me on endless HOLD and then to avoid the problem, she stopped answering the phone when I called. I have finally given up. I am going to keep the too small microwave, see photos of how they left it on two pieces of wood, and I will now have to pay someone else to take care of it.Please do yourself a favor and GO TO ANY OTHER STORE but this one. They should be closed down. I am going to call my credit card as well and report them. There should be no reason they are trying to charge me $250 to return a microwave they sold me that doesn't fit the measurements I gave them.Sending all the bad karma your way GRINGER!!!!! What goes around comes around.

I ordered my first kitchen appliances here over 25 years ago, and am so glad I came back. Unlike all the top-good-to-be-true on-line deals and dealers, they had what they said they had, and have been exceptionally responsive and helpful arranging delivery and installation. Their office manager seems to answer her emails promptly regardless of the hour. So happy to be able to support such an efficient local business.

Arline and Lewis, the husband and wife owners of Gringer & Sons, are unusually accommodating and helpful. They matched the price of my Fisher Paykel gas range and, when a problem arose with my own installer, who had to cancel at the last minute due to COVID, they came to my rescue. They rescheduled my delivery and arranged for the installation of the range at a reduced price. Throughout the process they were hands-on and reachable at all times on their cell phones. A true mom and pop shop! I am grateful for the service I received and would recommend Gringer, without hesitation, to anyone who is looking to purchase any appliance.

I recently shipped at Grainger and Sons. The store is pretty small but don't be fooled by that. The collection is very impressive. I was looking for a specific dishwasher and they were the only place in the city that had it. I want to highlight how professional Vlad the installation technician was. He was very cordial and also knowledgeable. He was able to handle the nuances of working in an old new York apartment perfectly. He also highlighted minor details during installation which I really liked. Unfortunately I cannot give the same high praise for the delivery staff. They totally disregarded my building rules for using the freight elevator. Despite me telling them to use freight elevators, they used the regular one because they couldn't be bothered to wait for the super to come. They were rude and the only time I have not tipped a delivery team.

I needed to remotely assist my daughter who lives in NYC with replacing a through wall air conditioning unit in her apartment. Of the 4 companies I called Gringer and Sons was the only business that was able to communicate all aspects of the job needed for our job. From sizing the unit, delivering on an off schedule day, installation of new unit/removal of the old and putting together the needed Certificate of Insurance requirements. No hitches, a clean and timely installation and courteous and professional employees made it easy to get the job done. Thanks to Ravi and everyone else who helped.
