Anette (Manager) was so helpful. They have a ton of items from core hardware to a variety of household and life stuff. Very helpful for the 'I need this random thing' moment! Everyone seems super friendly and they always do their best to help me find what I need. A great neighborhood store for sure.

I came here to make a few purchases totaling about $100. There was only one customer in the store when I entered it. The employee I approached was not interested in showing me around. Customer service is no longer offered. This establishment lost $100 in revenue.I discovered a True Value store, and the staff was very helpful. I'll always go there from now on. The poor customer service at Brickman's Ace Hardware benefits True Value.

I don’t do well with just trying to browse and then getting asked interrogating questions on if I put something back. And slamming my products down while checking out. The girl working on 2/19 should not have a customer service role. Will not be back.

so bought a bulb did not work was told the package was torn and they could not replace , I insisted eventually he did . I asked him to check it before I left he said he could not . I called to say the second one did not work all of a sudden he had a way the check it . basically lied to me about checking it before . so I went back in 12 to 15 minutes walk and he told me he could not check it . I was like this is not happening . I said you told me to come back . he said he did not have a way . I said again you told me to come back . he started putting his finger in my face . There was some kind of bias the way I way be treated. I will not make my self small and allow people I spend thousands of dollars with to treat me in such a horrible way .

I just went into this shop to look for a humidifier for my home during the winter months. Went in, was helped right away by a few employees, particularly in grey shirts--shout out to them for being the best, they deserve ten stars! They helped me choose one, and the price tag said 39.99 on it. It was the cheapest one on the wall, so I was weary at first, but the employees were enthusiastic and so I went with it. I then placed it on the counter as I looked around for a couple more things. I get to the counter, and Mo, the manager, rings me up. All of a sudden, the humidifier is 70.00 and the original sticker is nowhere to be found! I look around for it, make sure that I wasn't imagining things and the employees vouch that yes, a sticker was there that read 39.99. The manager, Mo, claims that the sticker must have "fallen off," (five steps from where the humidifiers are to the checkout counter), then changes to say that there was none in the first place. After a very rude back and forth, I ended up buying the humidifier because I needed it. However, the manager's complete dismissal, despite the rest of the team corroborating the sticker and original price, was disappointing to say the least. So, that's to say: I know this location is a mainstay in the village, and those who were not the manager were amazing and and had great customer service, as always when I've stopped in before and today. With that, I ask that the store honors its prices presented instead of accusing the customer (and the rest of the workers in the store) of not being truthful.

I’m sorry to agree with previous reviews, but the service here was unbelievably rude. I was “assisted“ by someone named Lance. Who stared at me blankly, gave me one word responses, only pointed in the direction of anything I needed, and rolled his eyes and complained about actually having to help me. I only got his name the following day when I had to return the wrong part he sold me - the prior day he told me they didn’t give out names because of crazy clients. When I returned the part, I quietly told the manager that I wouldn’t be coming back because of the rude service. At which point another colleague chimed in “Fine, don’t come back.“ Unless you know exactly what you want and confirm it’s in stock, don’t come here and expect anything resembling customer service let alone expertise.

I love ACE Hardware, but not this store. I was shocked by how rude, dismissive, and offensive the manager was when I tried to return a product only 4 days after using it. He did not listen to me and only yelled at me when I tried to explain myself. While I will continuing shopping at ACE, I will never shop here again.

Really unpleasant shopping experience just now. Seems like the cashier was belittling me for being a woman in a hardware store. I'd really encourage y'all to cutdown on the cutesy comments and just tell people their total when they want to pay. I like shopping independent or coop stores, but if this is the attitude, I'd just as soon walk up to Home Depot.

I bought some items. They didn’t work and brought them back with the purchase record on my phone and with my credit card with me. But I couldn’t find the receipt.I asked if I can return when I was buying. I’d been only told the items should be unopened.The store didn’t pay my return without a receipt. Manager Imran was not nice as well.Left the items in the store and went out without any refund.Depending your returns on receipt is only tricky. No need to be cheap; please be solution and customer satisfaction focused !!
