Great location, nice sized room. However, the heater / air conditioner in our room was UNBELIEVABLY LOUD. Blowing and rattling and jangling all night long. I ended up having to turn it off completely because I preferred to sleep without heat than get woken every 15 minutes when it decided to go on.Honestly, a perfectly nice NYC hotel, but you're mostly at a hotel to sleep, so being woken up every 15 minutes sorry of kills the whole deal.P.S. If you look through the other reviews you'll see that several others note this A/C noise as well. So it's a known issue. So: stay away.

Very nice hotel, I went with my family and it was very good! Funny dinosaur in the lobby! We all liked the toilet because it had so many functions?! The price was good for everything that we got. Although it was sad because we were not able to open the windows, I would recommend it!

Immaculately clean rooms. Midtown location close to Times Square and Broadway, convenient to Penn Station and several subway lines. Robot dinosaur. What's not to like?

I stayed in a room with 2 beds, and the bed was spacious and the room was big enough (enough to fit 2 suitcases). It was a shame that there was no free bottled water, but looking at the reviews, it looks like water purifier and ice are provided for free on the 8th floor. If I go to New York again, I'm willing to go again.Nearby activities: It's close to Penn Station, so it's easy to use the New York subway, and the NBA is conveniently 5 minutes away.

Clean bedrooms, comfortable mattress and a cheap option. Also The location is great. All what you need in your NY trip.It is a small but comfortable hotel, the rooms are clean and the bathroom has a new Japanese system. The location of the hotel is strategic if you use the metro and the price is reasonable. The hotel has what you need for your stay in NY. A plus is that two locations away there is a place to have some delicious Bagels for breakfast.

Very convenient location with good service. 10-15 mins walk to the Empire State and Korea town. 15 mins walk to Time square. Even during busy Christmas season, the front service was excellent allowing free late checkout and free luggage keeping for the whole checkout day. Very close to famous bagel stores such as best bagel and liberty bagel.Rooms: Spacious and clean. Equipped with electric pot and hair dryer.Walkability: Very close to most of Mid-Town tourist spots.

Great hotel. Roomy rooms. Massive beds! Posh washer dryer toilets with heated seats. TV, fridge and a kettle (some complimentary teas and coffees would have been nice but no biggie). The location is excellent. Close enough to many of the NY attractions that are within walking distance (Times Square, Empire State, Rockerfella, Broadway, and Central Park a bit further up. The hotel has a lovely Japanese restaurant, we got a 10% discount for being guests at the hotel. Really great food and friendly service. Overall really pleased with whole experience

Clean and comfortable rooms, professional staff and a unique door greeter. Japanese boutique hotel favorably located one block from Penn Station. Gosuke restaurant on the ground floor is a must visit whether you need lunch or dinner.

We had the worst hotel experience in NYC- not working heating, when we switched room, we smelled gas, and the manager tried to persuade that he did not smell the gas. We decided to check out early and find another hotel. The receptionist Rachel was very polite and handled our dispute very well, however the manager was a disgrace. He was very rude, he escalated the situation unnecessarily, called me "big guy" and was giving me dead eyes, I still can not believe how he can be manager because I never experienced such situation in my life. He wanted to kick our friend from the room during us calling booking to process the early check out despite still having the room paid. The hotel might be decent because these issues can of course happen anytime but not under his leadership. I still feel very resentful, I wish senior management would send the manager to some communication trainings, he desperately needs to learn how to keep his cool while resolving issues of hotel guests.

4 stars only because the walls are incredibly thin. I was here for business but I had to go to bed early to wake up early, and every time someone used the blinds (pulling a metal string) in any adjacent direction, I would hear it. I would also hear people talking out in the hall. I know my phone calls were also able to be heard from those in the hall as well. Aside from that, great view, clean, and high tech rooms!

Strategic location okOn the other hand, I no longer found my glasses in my room and despite several complaints to the staff, no one cared.Poorly functional room for a family of 4Although there are few people at the pleasant welcome, I don't have good memories of it.

It's not a bad place to stay. I think it is strange that they have a jail cell, dinosaur, and fake foliage in the lobby. Seems like they can not pick a theme. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. View from the 17th floor sucks.
