This place is like the lottery. Maybe you’ll get a car. Maybe you won’t. Reservation? What’s that? Maybe you’ll get a nice person working there or maybe they look at you as if they are doing you the biggest favor in the world. I remember once I showed up, pre-paid Rez, person working there says “wow it’s your lucky day we actually have a car for you!”This is not a joke.Hertz however is indeed a joke.

Just a warning - this location gave us an electric car and assured us we could charge anywhere - they LIED.We have been in rural NH & there are few chargers - the few that do exist take 16 hours to charge the car. We charged enough for our trip home to get to western Massachusetts where we hoped there were more & faster charging stations, we even left a day early to make sure we had time. Anyway the charging stations are in scary parking lots mostly with nothing to do - so currently waiting an hour to charge car with my husband and child in a mosquito filled parking lot - it has really made this “vacation” with family stressful. We have spent time sitting around and charging throughout & now a drive that is supposed to be 4.5 hours is now 6

My trip was almost ruined at the outset when they refused my preferred credit card and demanded a card with a chip. I've been a Gold Plus Rewards member for nearly 20 years, and the card I wanted to use was already in my customer file as my preferred mode of payment. There's nothing in the rental agreement requiring a card with a chip. Attempts to resolve this issue by phone, email, or even in person have all been ignored. Hertz just doesn't care about their customers, and it doesn't matter how long you've been loyal to them.

1. A car wasn't ready/available at my reservation time. Many other people were dealing with the same issue. Took about an hour to get a car. - Many people were obviously annoyed, upset but the employee at the window was pleasant and was trying his best to get everybody a car. This appears to be a Hertz operations issue.2. The car was incredibly dirty, likely due to the ad-hoc nature of people returning cars which have to be quickly cleaned and given to the people waiting.3. Hertz charged me up-front to pick up the car and then charged me again when i returned the car. Please double check your credit card statement to ensure you are not being charged twice.First and last time renting from hertz, i recommend using Avis which is near by.

Terrible experience. As a customer, keep in mind that Hertz does not take responsibility if you have a reservation and they do not have the car available when you arrive for your reservation on time. Logistically, it is a nightmare, but even from the customer service perspective there was a complete lack of remorse or apology for the huge inconvenience.My recommendation is, if you are in need of a rental car for an important event or if you are relying on a rental car to be get to your destination on time, by no means should you rely on Hertz as a partner. Your reservation is NOT guaranteed by them and you will only be offered reimbursement for the reservation or to be placed on a waitlist. What a terrible operational system they have in place and a shame that the customer is responsible for the headache.Lastly, I would be open to a different sentiment if Hertz proactively gave customers a heads up that their reservation may not be available and assisted in finding an alternative travel solution, but neither of those are part of Hertz's customer service workflow.

AVOID AT ALL COST! This is the second time that I've ordered a car online and they don't have one available then I get to the counter. You will wait hours for them to finally have a car and be completely ignored by 'customer service' online because they don't have any customer service! Believe me, you will be ignored and at their mercy. Hertz has really gone downhill since they've been bought out. They don't care about their customers only about money. Avis is better.

Worst experience ever , lady at the counter with a very poor attitude .. we have chosen a car on Expedia to pick up from this location .. the cashier and what seems to be the manager , started arguing saying that there is no Tesla’s available (the car booked online). We have been politely asking why would we pay for a car and get another one , for almost 100$ , the lady Rowling her eyes , making faces and answering : do you want this car or not ( a sedan they have chosen for us !! ) .. this attitude and this behaviour , is unacceptable .. people being mean for no obvious reason, disrespectful ! Disgusting behaviour ! This is literally my first review on Google, please avoid this place not worthy of travel for almost an hour to pick up not a car but an attitude .. these stuff members should literally be fired .. no place for them on the client service industry .. again disgusting behaviour ! This is a scam !

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!!They never have cars available when you arrive for your booking, the staff are rude and offer no help, just use Turo. Rental car companies are a scam

I left something in the car at this location and reported it, but of course, "nothing was found". Also, worst service I've received dropping off a car. People were rude and not helpful. I would go out of the way to avoid this location going forward. Save yourself the trouble.

Told me only car available for my reservation was an EV for a one way rental for 1 day. They told me I would be fine and I could just charge it overnight from any outlet… When I arrived at my destination with just 30 mi range left, I consulted the manual. 59 hrs of charge time needed from a normal home outlet. So instead of visiting with my family I spent 3.5 hours trying to find places to recharge and recharging. Terrible waste of time and money.

Cars are consistently broken or without fuel, service is slow, and if you need answers to literally any customer service question you're out of luck. The staff is consistently rude and often can't figure out how to properly rent or return cars. In one thrilling experience, an associate locked themselves out of the rental booth and had to climb through a window to get keys, delaying a rental by a full hour. They also mysteriously placed me on a no-rent list with no explanation as to why, leaving me stranded. For context, I rent cars weekly from Hertz typically with no issues. Rent from literally anywhere else if you want to get to your destination in a timely fashion.

Every second spent here shaves off at least 3 hours of my life.4 employees standing around asked me to park the car in their garage, when I was hurriedly trying to exit to make a doctors appointment.I’m not sure why they aren’t able to park the cars themselves at their own job?No matter how far in advance you reserve a car, or how many times you visit this exact same location, I’ve never waited less than 30 min for keys to a car.Many times I have to correct them in person or through customer service because they insist on charging me an underage driver fee, which is absolutely inapplicable, and a case of not being able to do simple math.Honestly… I’m praying for everyone who works here. They obviously need it.
